The new year has arrived and with it comes an opportunity to take on life with a fresh perspective. To create reasons to celebrate each day with a grateful heart. To complete chapters and begin new ones with renewed zest and hope. This period is such a one for me as I bid farewell to my second home, the Edsa Shangri-La, Manila, of which I am truly proud. Much has taken place in the two years I have served in this beautiful property, including the completion of our Tower Wing room renovations, our new Lobby Lounge, refurbished tennis courts, poolside and front office. Very soon, we will be unveiling our new and absolutely state-of-the-art Health Club, which I hope will inspire more of us to live a fit and healthy lifestyle. I take this opportunity to thank you, our most valued guests and partners, for your friendship and support during my stay in Manila. It has been an unforgettable time for me, and I look forward to crossing paths with you again in the near future. The New Dog Park Opens Edsa Shangri-La, Manila recently opened a Dog Park located at the poolside gardens. The Dog Park is home to the hotel’s resident security canine detail - the adorable, hardworking and talented crew that guests have come to know and love.
