Students who successfully complete one of our preparation programs are guaranteed direct admission to one of over 150 EF University Preparation Abroad partner institutions in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia and Germany. University Preparation Abroad students have continued their academic at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions including Hult International Business School, London School of Economics and St. John’s University.

Program details yy 2 to 52 weeks, starting every Monday yy 6, 9 or 11 months yy Start dates in January, April, June and September.*

Language requirement yy No minimum English or German level required
Results Students who successfully complete the EF Language Preparation Program can then apply to a University Preparation Abroad program, which guarantees university placement.

EF University Foundation Program Overview This program of 30-32 lessons per week will prepare high school graduates for an international university. Students should take it to progress directly to a bachelor’s degree program.
Program details yy 9 or 11 months in the UK, Germany and Singapore, 6 or 9 months in the USA and Canada, or 9 months in Australia. yy Start dates in January, April, June (6-month program only) and September.*

Language requirements yy English 9-month program: IELTS score of 5.0, TOEFL 510 PBT / 180 CBT / 64 IBT or equivalent on the EF UPiBT test. yy English 6-month program: IELTS score of 5.5, TOEFL 525 PBT/ 194 CBT/ 71 IBT or equivalent on the EF UPiBT test. yy German: A2 (9-month), A1 (11-month)
Results Guaranteed admission to a bachelor’s degree program in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Singapore or a Studienkolleg course in Germany.
Program details yy 7 or 11 months yy Start dates in January (7 months) and August (11 months) for students who have completed an EF University Foundation Program, A-levels, IB or equivalent.*

Language requirements yy IELTS score of 5.5, TOEFL 525 PBT/ 194 CBT/ 71 IBT, or equivalent on the free EF UPiBT test. yy Students must reach IELTS 6.0 to start stage two.
Results Program graduates gain a Certificate of Higher Education in Business and Management from the University of Westminster and are guaranteed entry into the second year of a business related Bachelor’s degree program in the UK.
Program details yy 1, 2 or 3 terms of up to 14 weeks each yy Start dates in January, May and September (or August depending on partner University).
EF Locations EF Boston at Suffolk University, EF Atlanta at Oglethorpe University, EF Vermont at Lyndon State College, EF New Hampshire at Franklin Pierce University.
Language requirement yy 3 term program: 45 UPibt/B2-1 or TOEFL equivalent yy 2 term program: 50 UPibt/B2-2 or TOEFL equivalent yy 1 term program: 55 UPibt/B2-3 or TOEFL equivalent Minimum GPA of 2.5.
Results Guaranteed admission to Bachelor’s degree program at the relevant US partner university with up to 30 credits (accelerating degree completion by saving up to one year of study).
EF Locations Seattle and Vancouver. Phase Two is spent at one of our partner colleges – choose from Green River Community College and Seattle Central College in the US, or Columbia College in Canada.
Language requirement yy 9-month program: IELTS 4.0, TOEFL 380 PBT/ 83 CBT/ 26 IBT yy 6-month program: IELTS 4.5, TOEFL 410 PBT/ 103 CBT/ 34 IBT or the equivalent on the free EF UPiBT test.
Results Complete your Bachelor’s degree program at a University in the US or Canada in 24 months.

Results Guaranteed admission to a Master’s or MBA in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia or Germany. Guaranteed admission to a PhD program in the UK.
EF Diploma in Business and Management Overview Take this program to progress directly onto the second year of a Bachelor of Business degree in the UK. The program consists of 30 lessons per week (40-minute lessons) during the first 16 weeks followed by 27 lessons per week (40-minute lessons) during the remaining 20 weeks, plus reading and exam weeks.
EF University Transition Program Overview Enables high school graduates to fast track their university degree from one of our partner universities. Earn up to 30 college credits during the University Transition Program and enter the second year of university studies, saving a whole year of study.
EF Accelerated College Degree Program (ACDP) Overview This two-phase program has 32 lessons of 40 minutes p/week in phase one. Students aged 16+ who have finished Grade 11 can earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree in just 2 years (plus preparation time).

EF Pre-Master’s, Pre-MBA & Pre-PhD Program Overview A program that prepares university graduates for entrance to a postgraduate degree program, consisting of 30 lessons per week in the UK and 32 per week in the USA, Australia and Germany. Lessons are 40 minutes each.
