MOST POPULAR
Why is EF Intensive our most popular course? Because not only do you maximize the amount that your language skills improve, you also gain valuable time to practice with fellow students. This extra interaction enables you to communicate in a natural way, faster than on other courses, and in the process form lasting friendships. How many weeks should students enrol for an EF Intensive Course? The longer you study, the more you will improve, guaranteed. That’s why students seeking advanced language skills enroll for a minimum of 3 to 6 weeks. Keep in mind that Intensive students make progress 25 to 50% faster. A 6-week course allows most students to advance one full level of ability, and many intensive students choose to achieve greater fluency with courses of 3 months or more.

What our students say They’ve traveled abroad, learned a language and have memories to share. Find out why so many of our students describe their time abroad as the experience of a lifetime – through their own words and pictures.
“My trip to Nice, France was amazing. The segway tour through old Nice was my favourite activity. I formed great friendships with many students from around the world. The group guides were super and a lot of fun.” Carter Wilson - Quebec, Canada EF Nice Junior Summer Camp
EF Paris truly gave me an experience I won’t forget. The staff was accommodating, the teachers were wonderful and the school itself was gorgeous and modern. I think the most valuable thing that came out of my time with EF was my growth as a person. I feel like I learned a lot, not just about the French language, but about myself as well.
“My experience with EF Nice was inspiring, I learned more French than I had previously imagined and I made many amazing friends that I will keep for life. At first I had planned to stay for 4 weeks but after spending one month in Nice I fell in love and extended my stay. I am so glad that I did because it was the most amazing trip of my life!”
“I was also quite impressed with the school itself: my teachers were engaging, the staff was helpful, and I was able to meet students from different countries. I thank EF for opening up my eyes to the opportunities that a language course gives, and am now considering doing a second stay in Tokyo.”
Chelsea Salanki - Welland Canada EF Nice
Natasha Lomonossoff - Napean Canada EF Tokyo
My first day at EF was like a movie. It was my first time in Europe and every single street was like walking into an art museum. What I loved about attending school in Rome was that I wasn’t just going to school, I was going out into the rest of the country.
“A transformative experience! One that left me with unforgettable memories, tremendously fun friends, and a new perspective on life that has continued to shape my character long after my departure.”
Salma Ilsan - Vancouver Canada EF Rome
Edmundo Jakubowski - MA, USA EF Barcelona
Alyssa Oziel - Toronto Canada EF Paris
