Your EF Timeline Welcome to EF! Your enrollment confirmation is just the beginning – now the read adventure begins! Below you’ll find a timeline of all the important events leading up to your departure.
1. My EF! Sign in with your personal access code at my.ef.com, where you can connect with your classmates and find a lot of other useful information about your trip. 2. Your enrollment confirmation You’ve officially signed up with us! Now we’ll send you some important forms and a first invoice. Please read it carefully together with your parents. 3. Forms Read all your forms carefully and sign them. Then make sure you return them to your local EF office as soon as possible. 4. Erika insurance coverage EF requires that you have insurance coverage during your course abroad. Erika Travel Insurance offers a customized package for EF students. 5. Halfway there Hey! You’re almost ready for your journey. We’ll keep you updated on your adventure – and send you a special surprise. 6. Language test Take your online language test on My EF to find out which language learning level you are. Once we know your level, we can get your academic journey off to a smooth start. 7. Get ready Make sure you sign up for one of our pre-departure meetings. The meetings can be online or in person, and they’re the best way of finding out all the essential information about your course and school destination. You’ll find the dates for all our meetings on My EF. 8. Payment November: Online Part Payment February: Part Payment 50% of course fee April: Final Invoice, Student Handbook 1-2 weeks before departure package arrives. Information on My EF: flights, leaders, accomodation and more. Your invoice will be sent along with your Student Handbook, where you’ll find detailed information on your destination. 9. Your flight Find your travel itinerary on My EF 2 weeks before your departure. Pick up your boarding pass at the check-in counter or the self-service check-in machines when you get to the airport on your day of departure.
