How to Verify the Originality of the Mark Sheets? In the coming years with the advent of technology, very soon government will make a rule for the colleges and universities to update and make the mark sheets and other degrees available online. This will be compulsory for all the small and big organizations to make a website and maintain a database for the record of students. Technology has available us the resources for utilization and ease for the mankind but the big constraint is that humans utilize it in a bad manner to accomplish its own selfish motives. Mark sheets are made on a hard paper with stamp and other essentials attachments required to qualify a certificate or mark sheet. Students make fake certificates and degree marksheets due to various reasons such as fear of friends and relatives and embarrassment due to poor marks or problem in placements and jobs etc. this not only makes them walk on the wrong path but also encourages them to attempt to other corrupt ways to excel in their academics from others. In the past few years, many universities and colleges are scammed with these fake certificates and mark sheets. Even the teachers and professors themselves support the students in their tasks to make a duplicate or fake mark sheet just in the lure of some money or some other offer. Few months back only in July, one professor lodged a complained that one fake mark sheet was being made in the name of techno global university, Shillong. Infact, the fake marksheet was uploaded even on the official website of the university. This floating of website shocked everyone and the investigation by done by the education council of India. A similar case of fake marksheet was being found at Kolkata in Naba Ballyngunj Mahavidyalaya where an English teacher was being dismissed for submitting her fake marksheet in the college and was working as a professor in the college. As this fake deed of the teacher came in to the eyes of college authorities, the teacher was dismissed from the college and even by the government authorities and her license for teaching in any government body was permanently cancelled. The registrar of the collegeRabindraBharati University (RBU), for the name of which she made the duplicate certificate, SubrataGhosh said, “when the college authorities called us to enquire about a lady for her academic course in our college, we found that the mark sheets she had submitted was totally fake and there was not any identity found of her academic career in our college. We immediately confirmed the college about the fake mark sheet and that lady was dismissed on the spot.” They also sent us the post graduate score sheet of the lady and even that was found fake. The authenticity of the mark sheet was verified at every possible level but it failed at every point. A report was lodged in the police station against the teacher and a complaint was successfully filed and action was taken against her and this
destroyed her whole career. One way to have a halt at these forged academic certificates is through online database system. The universities can make a tight security website that is hosted by only the university authorities. Students can view their results, marks and other details online from their accounts. Universities need to update the new results and other details of the students on a regular basis to avoid any discrepancy. The database of the scores would facilitate the online verification of the academic career of the students. One cannot say that the online system secures the fake system and make it an idle system but it can avoid the fake system of certificates to a high extent. Security at online system is a bit securer than at manual systems. Making fake certificates and mark sheets manually is easier than making the fake mark sheets online by unlocking the online security system by entering the database of the system. In addition to this, the students do not need to fear about losing their mark sheets or any certificate. Now days, software professionals have assured that they have made such secure systems that it is almost impossible for the external intruders to crack the password and other security protocols. The security protocols can be accessed only by the valid authority of the universities. The university will make different sections for each college under it and the valid codes are given to each college. The students require to login their student’s account under their college section. Each student will be given a unique username and password to access their full academic marks and other details of their background. The database can be accessed anytime and anywhere by the students and even the college
authorities. The college authorities must have the right to access the marks of all the students of their college with the help of their roll numbers. Indian education authorities have taken some steps taking in concern this trend of fake mark sheets and certificates. A flying squad regularly checks several colleges and universities to keep a watch at their administrative work and their authenticity of mark sheets. If some doubtful case in ever found in any of the college, full investigation is being held to get the deep roots of the mark awarding system. With the coming years and with the advent of technology, very soon government will make a rule for the colleges and universities to update and make the mark sheets and other degrees available online. This will be compulsory for all small or big organizations to make a website and maintain a database for the records of students and marks and the details so that this fakeness of marks can be avoided to a greater extent. If a student has some manual mark sheets or certificates and is in doubt for its originality, the student needs to take some action immediately as this is the matter of his or her career. The student must visit the university as soon as possible and clear his or her doubt by showing the mark sheets awarded to him or her by the college authorities for the checking of its authenticity. One must also take an initiative to check the college records for the marks that are attained by him in the mark sheet and the marks that are being recorded in the college administration records. Any small mismatch can create a doubtful case for his or her career. Any printing error or typing mistake must also be removed by visiting the college or university from here you have completed
your academic session. In future, even a single mistake can make your boss in doubt as the false case now days are on an alarming rise so the company verifies the mark sheets with high concern. So, to avoid any mess in the future, make sure there is no such error in your mark sheet and it is syntactically correct. The genuineness of the mark sheet is very difficult to recognize as the technology has given such miracles to humans. Government needs to make an agency for the following. The members of the family must visit every campus of the university to check their system. Even if the online databases are maintained in some university, even then the online security of the database of the student’s records must be checked. No one can guarantee the full authentication of any degree or certificate but for sure we can take certain steps to maintain the decorum in our education system. Several committees must be formed for every state colleges and schools and regular visits to the campus must be there. The national council for every country must be formed under which various state councils must be formed to manage with the data of colleges successfully and logically. Divide and rule method applies perfectly here, since a single authority cannot deal with all the colleges and schools of the country. So, setting up the state councils can make this work at ease. We can secure the career of our youth and the deserving candidates by a small initiative by changing our mind set up and updating ourselves with the budding technologies and implementing them practically in our lives. If the corrupt persons find the ways to make their wrong ways easy then, the professionals also make their way by finding solutions to make the security higher and more secure protocols.
Ways to Verify mark sheet Third Party Verification: Corporates are paid for the verification and they do the verification for the candidates. RTI: An RTI can be submitted from the side of the candidate and a duplicate mark sheet is issued by the university as verified. Manually: Candidate can get the mark sheet verified by personally visiting the University campus and getting it verified by the Examination Department Head.

Smart Choice for Education Autonomous Courses Autonomous Institutes- Academic independence which gives it the freedom to revise the syllabus with time and follow a schedule which is more suitable for the set curriculum. Today is the time of the modern generation with modern education. These simple and advanced courses which enhance and represent the interest and passion of the student are called as Autonomous courses. All good institutions like IITs and NITs are autonomous. Highlighting the importance of autonomous colleges, the UGC document on the XI Plan Profile of higher education in India clearly states that: “The only safe and better way to improve the quality of undergraduate education is in the link most of the colleges from the affiliating structure. Colleges with academic and operative freedom are doing better and have more credibility. The financial support to such colleges boosts the concept of Autonomy.” It is proposed to increase the number of autonomous colleges to spread the culture of autonomy and the target is to make 10 per cent of eligible colleges Autonomous by the end of the XI Plan period. Need for Autonomous courses:The affiliating system of colleges was originally designed when their number in a university was small. The university could then effectively oversee the working of the colleges, act as an examining body and award degrees on their behalf. The system has now become unwieldy and it is becoming increasingly difficult for a university to attend to the varied needs of individual colleges. The colleges do not have the freedom to modernize their curricula or make them locally relevant. The regulations of the university and its common system, governing all colleges alike, Irrespective of their characteristic strengths, weaknesses and locations, have affected the academic development of individual colleges. Colleges that have the potential for offering programmes of a higher standard do not have the freedom to offer them. In 1964-66 the Education Commission pointed out that the exercise of academic freedom by teachers is a crucial requirement for development of the intellectual climate of our country. Unless such a climate prevails, it is difficult to achieve excellence in our higher education system. With students, teachers and management being co-partners in raising the quality of higher education, it is Imperative that they share a major responsibility. Hence, the Education Commission (1964-66) recommended college autonomy, which, in essence, is the instrument for promoting academic excellence. They are mostly related with the management courses. They are similar to the management, medical science internships of minimum 6-12 months. These autonomous courses are for those students who cannot afford the cost of the degree or they don’t want to spoil their precious years in degree.
For example:Diploma in Management the duration of this course is only a year. There are some graduate diplomas too the course duration is 3 years as same as a bachelor degree. This diploma is named as or called as Graduate Diploma in Business Management. There are some Post Graduation diplomas are also available in the universities of India. These diplomas are Post Graduation Diploma in Management the duration of the course is 1 another year as well as we have Masters Program In Management the duration of the course is 2 years as same as master degree of commerce.
BENEFITS oF THESE CoUrSES:These courses have more benefits then the long degrees first of all they save the time of those students who have gap years in study and they don’t want to spend a long time in degrees and then they help those students too who are not that much financially strong that they can do a degree. So they can help themselves to grow more in the field of management. The second benefit of these courses are that those people who are doing part time jobs as well or those who are doing part time study they can do these courses as they are diplomas so they are much easier then the degrees so they will not find any kind of problem for maintaining a balance between the study and the work and the benefit is that some institutions are providing these courses in distance education programs. The third benefit is that as they are quite similar to the degrees or the particular field so the student who becomes employee after these courses can easily grow up in his career. Because in management field usually higher authorities sees the ability of the worker or employee while giving him promotions or other benefits like bonuses etc. so the students of the autonomous institutions can grow as well. The students from these autonomous courses are well prepared for the business sector. They can easily crack the interviews because the students have been taught by the faculty about the group discussions which helps the students for sharpen their brains in the decisions making abilities. Difference between an Autonomous Institution and Non Autonomous Institution Autonomous Institutions:It is affiliated to a government university but does not follow it’s syllabus or curriculum. There are some salient features of these type of institutions. 1. Academic independence which gives it the

freedom to revise the syllabus with time and follow a schedule which is more suitable for the set curriculum. 2. Exams are conducted by the institute itself and are in accordance with what is being taught during the session. 3. Relative grading system where the highest marks obtained by a student decides the marks the others get so in case of a difficult paper, a low percentage score would not necessarily mean a low GPA. 4. Degrees finally awarded by the university which generally a lot of reputation. Non Autonomous Institutions- Affiliated to the government university and follows it’s syllabus and curriculum. There are some salient features of these type of institutions too. 1. Curriculum is common with many other affiliated institutions and is regulated by a university throughout a certain region. (sometimes even an entire state) 2. Easy availability and ample options for books. 3. Exams are conducted by the affiliated university. But there are some downsides of the Non Autonomous Institutions 1. Syllabus or Curriculum issued by the University has to be blindly followed. 2. No relative grading system, so a difficult exam means low marks for everyone. 3. Schedules are always known to go haywire with results of previous semesters. Sometimes being announced only a few days before the next exams.
UNIVErSITIES oFFErING AUToNoMoUS CoUrSES ABroAD: University of Barcelona, Spain – This is an autonomous university providing different types of courses related with the management, medical science and tourisms. This autonomous university was established in June, 6, 1968. As it is an old university so we can make a guess that this is not an unsuccessful university. National Autonomous University of Mexico- This University was founded in year 1910. But UNAMs autonomy granted in 1929. Singapore University of Technology and designProvides the under graduate autonomous courses. Symbiosis College of Arts and CommerceSymbiosis is the multinational multicultural and multilingual institution of India. This well repudiated institution of India was established by Dr. S.B. Mujumdar in the year 1971. It is providing autonomous courses to the Humanities (Arts) and for Commerce field students. This college is collaborated internationally with the Universities of USA and Europe. These are some most popular institutions of the world. But almost all of the big universities around the globe are providing the autonomous courses. This means that not only in India but around the globe we have a lot of options in different fields for the autonomous courses. Scope of autonomous courses- As we all know that every student chooses his field with the hope of a great scope in future. We can define scope as the chances of being successful and also chances of getting jobs in future. So, yes there is a good scope of autonomous courses that is because student studies in a particular field and also student knows how to work in the field he studied before in his education. There are only those syllabuses which can be covered easily and in favour of the students. As there are Resource acquisition, Efficiency Index, Average work load, average time distribution between lectures and practical. There are Group discussions as well as teaching aids used which means programmes and activities planned and implemented. This makes the student a brighter and smarter than the non-autonomous institutions. This is what the basic need of the market of the globe or we can say that business sector needs this that’s why we can say that there is a good scope of the autonomous courses.

madhav university industry integrated Learning Program With the growing advancement in each and every sphere of life corruption is also growing with the same pace. It had not even left the studies unharmed. Moreover we all know that it is something really illegal and also at the same very time we are playing with the future of the young generation. But just for some splashes of many people are doing and even this thing is mushrooming all over. We are talking about the unauthorized institutes or can say the institutes that are running well but have no affiliation. When they are asked about the affiliation thing than they have one common answer and that it they will get in a time of 6 months or a year or they are in the procedure of getting it. Now the question that arises is that, is this thing really acceptable that we are allowing some people to play with
the future of India. This story is not of one or two Universities, in each state you can find out many such Universities that are running good, collecting good money on the name of admission fee and donation and at the same very time is not following any legal procedure. Where have been all the courtesy gone? The students due to get admission in one such institutes/Universities with a dream that they will get a good faculty over there with a good exposure in their interested fields and after their tenure they will be able to bag out a good job. They are unaware of the fact that the certificates issued by these institutes will be of no use to make their future secured. Later in their lives they are going to realize that they have just wasted a precious time of their life and at the
same very time a good bunch of money of their parents. For an instance, let us take an example of University. There is a University named “Madhav University, Rajasthan” (http://madhavuniversity.edu.in/) that is working as a University. Moreover one will not be able to find out its name on the list of the site of UGC. Is it valid that a University can take admission without the affiliation of UGC? Will the certificates issued to the students be accepted by the organization as valid? Who will take the responsibility of the future of the students if something wrong happens with them? Now it is the right time to raise a voice against such institutes and to give them a clear NO to make them shut their gates.
quality gains in Indian higher academic establishments through collaborations and partnerships etc. this might conjointly facilitate higher investments within the pedagogy system together with Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) within the pedagogy system. aiCte approval not... (Cont. P-1) paragraphs 19 and 20 of ‘Parashvanath charitable trust case’ it's created clear when careful scanning of the provisions of the AICTE Act and therefore the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 that the role of AICTE in relation to Universities are merely informatory, recommendatory and one in every of providing direction and has no authority empowering it to issue or enforce any approval by itself,” it said. In favour of the Supreme Court ruling, faculty member Anand Wadadekar shared his individual opinion, “In my past ten years of counseling expertise, there have been students who asked American state that was a selected PG course approved by AICTE in spite of that individual course being already connected to a Statutory University. The impact and importance of AICTE recognition has been tremendous on the minds of oldsters and students. Several real institutes in India couldn't get students to their courses, simply because they failed to have AICTE recognition that is currently being tested as ‘not required’. I admit as true with SC’s statement, that however will ‘management science’ be treated as technical education? In person, there has been a large understanding gap at the authority level and therefore the sufferer’s square measure real establishments, students and parents.” AICTE is about to ask the judgment, stating that the trouble towards bringing transparency in matters of recognition of technical programmes pass by varied colleges and institutes over the last four years shouldn't move into vain. Questions are being raised concerning the authority given within the hands of connected colleges (that return beneath the view of AICTE), that may begin new courses or programmes while not seeking approval. With the new judgment, the institute merely must get the approval of its affiliating university and follow the standards prescribed by AICTE. According to the Assocham study, one hundred eighty colleges had stopped working in 2012 and another one hundred sixty colleges giving MBAs were expected to shut this year thanks to lack of quality education and inadequate standards. Though' AICTE’s alienation is being celebrated by personal institutes, the impact of this call on the deteriorating academic standards in Master in Business institutes may be a matter of concern.
