Prof. Abdulhamit Subasi Prof.
Dr.
Subasi
is
specialized
in
Artificial
Intelligence,
Machine
Learning, Biomedical Signal, and Image Processing. He wrote more than 20 book chapters and more than 200 published journal and conference papers.
He
is
also
the
author
of
the
book,
“Practical
Guide
for
Biomedical Signals Analysis Using Machine Learning Techniques”.
Prof. Mohamed El-Amin Prof. Dr. Mohamed F. El-Amin Mousa is a professor of computational sciences. He has over 180 publications, including papers, chapters, and books.
Dr. Saeed Qaisar Dr. Saeed Mian Qaisar is working as an Associate Professor at Effat University. His current area of research interest includes event-driven systems, signal processing, circuits and systems, machine learning, smart grid, and sampling theory.
Prof. Miltiades Lytras Prof. Miltiades D. Lytras is a Visiting Researcher at ECoE with a research focus on semantic web, knowledge management and e-learning, with more than 100 publications in these areas. He has co-edited 45 special issues in International Journals and has authored/[co-]edited 42 books.

Arduino workshop This introductory workshop was given by ECE Alumnae Makarem Al Jahdali about the possibilities of using the Arduino device. It gave a new and fresh perspective
on
learning
how
to
create
a
simple
circuit.
Students
stayed
engaged as they were able to apply what they learned through a simulator directly. Many were amazed at how easy it was, as only moments ago, the circuit seemed daunting and complicated. The event was enjoyed by many, especially those from different colleges wanting to learn something different.

Recent Events SCHOOL VISITS The CS department had 8 school visits during the fall semester. Students from different high schools paid a visit to Effat University in order to learn about the university, the colleges, and the programs. "Technology Leaders" workshops were delivered to the students by invited faculty. A guided tour of the campus was presented to excite the students to potentially join the university.
