Is Arabian society perfect for Expatriates? BY: SUMAIYA SYED
As a student I have seen many changes in my life and till this era of my life I have been living in SAUDI ARABIA being born and brought usually molds us into a same person where you have been born have you ever thought if you didn’t know the native language of the country you stay in is perfect., I would disagree with the Fact of staying back just because I didn’t know the Arabic language. But as I spent time my life I saw drastically changing I learnt the language if an expatriate living here does not know Arabic will definitely have language interacting in social life in Saudi but that is changed by God’s grace the Citizens and the international people that are the residents are able to communication Arabic is still our major and will always be the first priority we try speaking we have the people who encourage us we encourage the friends who don’t know Arabic language they try to speak Arabic
and we Expatriates make sure that a Arabic friend of ours speak normal and perfect English and when she wants we can speak Arabic with her.., Many a times in a society it is a said that a person who is Expat is always required by a Senior Arab who wants the Expat to help him because they are the peoples who can work on the orders or the work given for the long and the due…...,As per the research and personal experience has been one of the most awaited long journey from childhood to being an adult I have been seeing much so SAUDI ARABIA is a perfect country for expats since mostly now a day it’s the ERA of Women’s Empowerment is more in scene and which is good for the development of the females in the country it’s been always safer on roads for women to move around the security the Peace and the glow for the people who haven’t seen the lights and brightness can see here in SAUDI ARABIA
People from different nations want to come as a tourists to see around they come and when they go back they`re sad to return because they get the love and hospitality from Arabs which touches their hearts and it un forgettable For a girl/boy if they`re born and brought up here It is harder for them to go back to their home country because they lived their whole life here they create memories, friends, plans, childhood spots where they used to live and many that makes a non-Arab to miss the life in SAUDI ARABIA because we have all created a big book of memories in SAUDI ARABIA. BE IT ANY COUNTRY AN EXPATRIATE WILL NEVER FIND A PLACE LIKE SAUDI ARABIA ITS BEEN THE BEST, IT IS AND IT WILL BE THE BEST...

Beaches and Sunsets by Basma Baeshen
Sunset, sunset with the sea below and sky above The sun slowly dips into the sand, and as I sit Hopeful and reflective, I am surrounded by nature in every direction
Sometimes, I wish it were true Mother nature, your beauty stuns me at every turn With the turn of the tide and the swaying of the sea I dig my feet deep into the sand and wonder
Nature, dear mother nature, how beautiful you can be,
Why is it that we do not fully appreciate
Nature, dear mother nature, with your stunning beauty
Your support and your love to us
Of the beaches, sea, and shore
The sea you care for replenishes me
All I think about is my evergreen love for you
It gives me a new hope towards life
Watching the sunset, I wonder
Sunset, sunset you please my soul
How is it that mankind is violent when you are peaceful
Now, however, we welcome night.
Can we perhaps learn peace from you,
The Tongue by Nejoud Bugshan I’m not just a small part of your body I’m more than what you know I’m a double-edged sword I’m not cruel, I’m merciful I’m not mean, I’m honest I hold the power you can’t control I translate your thoughts into words I paint with it to create your world Shall it be a world of lies and deceptions Or a world of honesty and truthfulness Only your words will set the course For better or worse, am I a blessing or a curse?

We are all guilty of procrastination, no matter how responsible we are. Who doesn’t delay their responsibilities for some binge watching or a sudden outing with their friends? But did you ever wonder why some of us tend to procrastinate more than others? What drives us to procrastinate? Behavioral psychology refers to this phenomenon as ‘time inconsistency’. Time inconsistency is the human brain’s tendency to choose immediate rewards over future rewards. Promising your brain a futuristic payoff is not enough; your brain requires instantaneous reward. For example, you procrastinate on finishing your assignment because the rewarding feeling of accomplishment is futuristic while the reward of reading your novel is immediate. On the other hand, when the deadline arrives, the future becomes the present, and the feeling of accomplishment has to be reached now; thus your brain motivates you to start and finish your assignment.
of the methods to avoid procrastination involves associating the tiring task required with an immediate reward or pleasurable act. For instance, head to your favorite coffee shop to work on your assignment. To make this method more effective, Katy Milkman at The University of Pennsylvania suggests that you only do the thing you love, (ex: heading to the coffee shop) while doing tasks you are procrastinating on. This concept is known as Temptation bundling. This allows your brain to associate working on your tasks with an immediate reward and thus helps avoid procrastination. Another method includes breaking down your task into smaller, simpler tasks. Little measures of progress will allow you to maintain momentum over the long run to finish your tasks. In addition, as soon as you complete one productive task, you develop an attitude of productivity and efficiency that helps you power through the rest of your day. The third method requires that you create immediate negative
consequences as a reward and thus will motivate you to work. Ask your friend to join you on your 8 am jog; their disapproval when you procrastinate will motivate you to leave bed earlier! Everyone wants to avoid disapproval. The last method is called “commitment device”. Psychologists claim that thoroughly planning your future actions for the day helps you avoid wasting time and procrastinating. It is the randomness of your actions that allows you to procrastinate. Create a little daily to-do list to keep your daily energy in check! While procrastination seems like a very normal act to some of us, it is in fact a friendly looking monster that feeds on our productivity and leaves us empty handed.
Book Reviews By Noura Khalid
I Hope My Voice Doesn’t Skip by Alicia Cook "There's a magic to be found in days that begin quite ordinary if you just open yourself up to possibilities." I was sent a review copy of this book by the publishers and I don’t think I’ve ever been happier to read a poetry book. Alicia Cook has such a unique way of writing poetry. Raw emotions are present in each poem. Even if I couldn’t relate to each piece I still really loved her words. Heartbreak, courage, love, and so many other things were present in her work. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves poetry.

Divergent by Veronica Roth This book was a favorite of mine for such a long time and I still consider it as such. The story is set in a dystopian world where everyone is sorted into factions. These factions are Abnegation, Candor, Dauntless, Amity and Erudite. Each of these factions represents a virtue that the people must follow. When a person turns sixteen they get to choose between staying in their faction or devoting themselves to another. The main character Beatrice is faced with this choice and we get to follow her on her new journey. The book was gripping in so many ways and it was constantly action packed. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. The trials were always very difficult and dangerous. Veronica Roth made a complex story with twists and turns to keep the reader always entertained.

While reading the seHarry Potter series. In this book ries and even after finishing, we follow the many adventures there’s always this huge smile on of Harry, Ron and Hermione my face. An impression that’s around the halls of Hogwarts. really hard to find in many Strange whispers through the books. Definitely a series that I halls, sudden attacks, and a would recommend to chamber that was believed to be everyone no matter how a myth for many years. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black The story focuses on Jude and her sisters who are taken to Faerie after witnessing their parents murder. Living among the Fae is difficult for a mortal, and Jude and her sister are trying to fit in the only place they’ve every really known. Things take a turn and Jude tries to find a way to save the place she’s called home for so long. This book was unique in a lot of ways. Jude was such a strong and determined character. I especially loved how she came to deal with her challenges, and they weren't easy ones at that. Prince Cardan was a different story. Cruel and often wicked and most definitely different from most princes in young adult books. Then again this is a different kind of story. I loved that the ending surprised me. I thought I saw it coming but I clearly didn’t. Holly Black has exceeded all my expectations and her books don’t disappoint.
