Permit update for lepidopteran pest control A permit for the use of Chlorantraniliprole in avocados to control lepidopteran pests including ectropis looper and the avocado leaf roller has been updated by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA). The permit holder has been changed from Avocados Australia Limited to Horticulture Innovation Limited (Hort Innovation), and is in place until 30 April 2023 for New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia only. Download PER81560 from https://portal.apvma.gov.au/permits for all of the conditions associated with this minor use permit. If you use this permit, or any others, and an adverse experience occurs as a result of using the permit, the NonPerformance Reporting Form for Horticultural Pesticides should be completed.
