JOURNAL CLUB The EFSUMB Publications Committee is setting up a Journal Club with voluntary ultrasound experts comprising all areas of medical ultrasonography. Each of the Journal Club members may screen a defined list of Ultrasound journals with an Impact Factor plus emerging journals for recently published interesting articles. The experts are expected
to select and briefly highlight articles giving valuable insights in the field of medical ultrasound to the European Ultrasound Community. We are planning 4 Issues per year, which will be published quarterly in an online newsletter. The contributors will be listed and a Table of Contents displayed with links to the papers reviewed will be provided. The aim is
to show the abstract of the selected article expanded with a short personal opinion focused on strengths and weaknesses of each publication. If you are interested in volunteering please contact admin@efsumb.org

EUROSON 2023 Congress Dear Friends and Colleagues, We are honoured to invite you to the EUROSON 2023 in Riga, Latvia, 25–27 May. On behalf of the Organizing committee, let us kindly ask you to Save the Date and Register for the EUROSON 2023 in Riga, Latvia, from 25–27 May next year Early bird registration fees till 28th of February with Special fee for EFSUMB members The main objective of the 34th EUROSON congress in 2023 for three days is to network and discuss the latest breakthroughs in clinical, scientific, and creative aspects of ultrasound, and to participate in discussions, joint sessions, workshops, and state-of-the-art performances displaying the future of ultrasound. It will be a comprehensive forum where various European experts and participants will exchange ideas and present the results of ongoing research and clinical challenges in the essential areas of ultrasonography. With EUROSON 2023, we also want to give medical students a platform for exchange with each other and with experienced ultrasound practitioners and let the public of Riga participate in the latest developments in ultrasound. State-of-the-art ultrasound technology will be available in a Sono-Cave so that experts can show how it is done and beginners can discover their love for ultrasound
