Introduction Hello, my name is Eggy Miftah. The portfolio that I have compiled is a representation of my work for the last four years. There are several collaborations with colleagues at previous company and with friends on some of my freelance projects. In this case, I give credit to the people involved in each project that I present. That proves I can work alone or collaborate as a team. I summarize some of my work, including; office space, commercial space, residential, and furniture products. I love art, design, and other creative fields in general. Glodon Indonesia Office Glodon Indonesia is a Chinese company that sells software products and services in construction management information. Along with the development of its business in Indonesia, Glodon needs a work area to add employees. Besides that, they need class without enlarging the existing space. Originating from this problem, we changed the existing layout. Eliminating unnecessary furniture, replacing workbenches that take up space, and combining several areas into optimal use. We use open space concept, with concise furniture. Partitions mostly use glass material, which gives a broader effect on the room. As a result, the work area can add a maximum of 10 employees and classroom capacity from 8 to 20 people.

Ascon is a company that focuses on the fields of energy, petroleum, and coal. They moved their main office in Jakarta to a more prominent and modern place to expand their business. Approximately 800 square meters, Ascon will occupy its new office at the Gold Coast Tower. I was assigned to design an area for the finance department, with workspace for staff, managers, meeting rooms, and filing rooms. I extend the corporate brand image more than logo and color palettes. By modern, formal, mature, and professional looks its represent operation and culture of the workplace

Located in Central Park Mall, Able Exchange provides money exchange services. We want to make a different perception of the money exchange shop more transparent, open, and modern with a unique identity than other shops. The choice of color, material, and layout is the main thing in designing this project. Orange has always been associated with a symbol of good luck in traditional Chinese. This color is also said to symbolise “gold,� so we decided to dominate the Able Exchange with a reddish-orange color and give it an identity with its color.

Playworks
Playworks is company that sell all kind of branded cellphone accessories. Designed based on client needs and previous store. Using monochrome colors and simple shapes to create strong modern impression making Playworks brand more prominent. We provide a new display system by using perforated metal as a basis with a hook that can be removed achieving full flexibility on products presentation.

N.A.P Beauty Salon NAP salon offers almost all beauty treatments from manicure and nail gel art to hair removal, eyebrow embroidery and eyelash extension. Located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, we designed NAP with white color and bold black lines to give clean and modern looks.

CSI Office In early 2017, CSI came to us with a plan; create a showroom to showcase furniture and office products for creative teams plus marketing. Located in Green Lake City, Tangerang, a 4-story shophouse has been transformed into showroom, and the top floor is designed as an office. I assist them in determining the design of the office. The brief given is relatively straightforward, an open office with an outdoor area as a place to break and crack solution.

ICOM is an international brand of radio transmitting and receiving equipment. In only 25 square meters area we combined 3 areas at once : product display area, office area and product stock area.

Gold Coast Apartment Located in North Jakarta, the apartment has direct sea views. By mean of this, the owner plans to make the apartment investment for rent—stylish, modern, unique with low construction cost. We decided to play with colours and lines as a statement of the interior and choosing the right furniture is not only functional but gives a distinctive style to the room. Casa Grande Apartment
Given as a gift to her daughter, the owner of the apartment wants the apartment is simple to live in, easy to clean and functional. Modern minimรกlis with neutral colours is our choice. On top of this, we change the function of a small room as a study room and demolish the service room to enlarge the kitchen area to optimize the space.

Located in the townhouse, this house’s architecture has a split level concept, with bold shapes and lines forming many angles in the space that must be considered. The homeowner is a millennial who works in a technology company. The directions given were quite clear. This house used as a residence while working in Jakarta, so he wanted simple, effective, and functional furniture. I collaborated with Adly Mochamad, who largely determined the design, and I focused on managing the construction.

D house Manyar Permai We have the opportunity to renovate this house from the architecture to the interior. However, compromise is the right term when my team complete this project. We communicate a lot with clients in determining the design of the house. Things to consider is the client’s preference that every room in his home has a different appearance from material, shape and colour. As a result, we have blue for the kitchen, a grey tone masculine bathroom, a Japanese style bedroom, and etcetera.

Essence Darmawangsa Located in one of the posh areas in South Jakarta, Darmawangsa, the owner wants his apartment to look luxurious. He comes to us with a reference that is already in the head: classic modern, white nuances, traps and classic ornaments. We added wood material to make it feel homey and marble with luxurious motifs for this two-bedroom apartment accordant to the client’s description.

Furniture & Product Design I like furniture and design products. I believe a piece of furniture can define a space. During my college year, I did several competitions and furniture exhibitions. These following are among them (from top left to right); R-Chair IFEX 2015, E-Chair Bravacasa 2014, J-Chair IFEX 2018. During my career in the interior design company, I also designed several products for client needs, such as Mobile Cooking and Mobile Bar for Mandarin for Various Hotel in Jakarta, Emergency Tower for Surabaya Provincial Government.
