BY THE FRESH PRODUCE STALLS AT THE MARKET AND THEIR ORGANIC EYE-CATCHING QUALITIES. THE PLANTING SCHEME WILL INVOLVE A VARIETY OF TEX· TURES AND VIVID COLOURS TO MIMIC THIS. USING GA· BIONS IS A KEY FEATURE OF THE DEVELOPMENT AS THEY WILL HELP TO GIVE STRUCTURE AND ALSO DIS PLAY THE BLOCKS OF COLOUR OF THE PLANTING ON TIERS. USING TIERED LEVELS WHICH THE RIVER EATS INTO TO ALLOW BETTER VIEWS AND MORE ACCESS. ON EACH TIER THE

VEGETATION LAYER BECOMES LESS DENSE AND USING VEGETATION WHICH WORKS WELL IN MOIST SOILS · THESE AREAS CAN BE FLOODED. ACCESS TO THE RIVER IS PROVIDED BY THE VEGETATED SLOPE WHICH BECOMES MORE DENSE AT THE BOTTOME THEN OPENS UP INTO MEADOW/ OCCASIONAL WETLAND. THIS ENCOURAGES EXPLORATION AND CREATES MYSTERY. THE SKETCHES ABOVE DEMONSTRATE THE DENSITY OF THE PROPOSED VEGETATION AND SHOW THE LEVEL CHANGES.
