Saturday, July 3 | 8 am
Join Eglin Outdoor Recreation and Xtreme H2O on a jet skiing adventure along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Experience the thrill of piloting your own vessel on the water as you explore waterways and experience local wildlife on some of the world’s most beautiful emerald-green waters. Participants will take a one-hour guided dolphin tour and then have 30 minutes of free-riding time. Participants are asked to bring a photo ID (cannot be CAC), Florida Boaters License (or purchase a temporary one for $3), water,
sunscreen, a towel and a change of clothes. Cost is $25 and includes everything you will need. Transportation will be provided from Postl Point to XTreme H2O. Contact ODR to register now! 850-882-5058
Get Golf Ready! —In One Day
Saturday, July 10 | 9 am - 2:30 pm Develop your golf skills in less than a day! The Eglin Golf Course presents “Get Golf Ready!”—a fast-paced Saturday golf lesson for beginners or those who need a refresher. Topics of instruction include putting and chipping, using the right clubs, golf course etiquette and the rules of the game. Paddle Board Clinic Saturday, July 10 | 1 pm
Get out on the water with Eglin Outdoor Recreation for an introductory Paddle Board Clinic at Postl Point. Outdoor Rec will cover equipment, various paddling strokes and safety procedures during one hour of instruction and one hour of free paddle time. Cost is $20 per person and includes board and paddle rental. Participation is open to all base personnel and their guests, ages 8 and up. RecOn: Deep Sea Fishing Trip Sunday, July 11 | 8:30 am

Experience the thrill of offshore fishing in the Gulf of Mexico with Eglin Outdoor Recreation aboard the popular “Sweet Jody” party-charter fishing boat. Cost is $30 per person and includes (but is not limited to) the boat trip, tackle, bait, fishing poles, instruction, bottled water and snacks. Your catch will be filleted, bagged and put on ice for your trip home. Summer Stars Junior Golfers Program

LPGA 101: Women’s Golf Intro
July 12, 14, 19 & 21 | 5:30 - 7 pm The Eglin Golf Course offers a four-class introduction to golf designed for women, by women! Monday, Wednesday & Friday | 12 pm Take on a new challenge with the Eglin Fitness Center’s HIIT Camp 2.0! Known as highintensity interval training (HIIT), these fast-paced, effective workouts will help you get in shape, train hard-earned muscles, build endurance and boost your metabolism and heart health while burning calories. Classes meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the Field House Pavilion and are limited to 10 participants. Classes are not held on weekends or holidays. Eglin Outdoor Recreation invites all eligible military personnel to experience flyboarding with XL Kites at Postl Point. The flyboard uses water propulsion to lift its rider into the air! Cost is $25 per person, and each participant is allotted 20 minutes on the flyboard. Participants are encouraged to bring bottled water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel and a change of clothes. RecOn: Wakeboard and Waterski Trip Sunday, July 18 | 9 am

Whether it’s your first time on a wakeboard or you’re a pro, join Eglin Outdoor Recreation at the Pickos Waterski School in Santa Rosa Beach. Pickos has it all and offers instruction for all levels on its freshwater, man-made tournament lakes. Cost is $10 per person and includes all necessary equipment and transportation. Participants will meet at Postl Point and are encouraged to bring spending money, water, snacks, a change of clothes and a towel. Preregistration is required. 850-882-5058
Full Moon Kayak Friday, July 23 | 7 pm
Come paddle with Eglin Outdoor Recreation out from Postl Point to see the full moon rise
over the bay. This two-hour guided excursion will take participants on a kayaking trip to a small secluded beach for an amazing view of the night sky, s’mores and a moonlit paddle back to Postl Point. Participation is open to all base personnel and registered guests, ages 16 and older, who have some prior kayaking experience. Cost is $20 per person and includes all necessary equipment and ingredients for s’mores. Single and double kayaks are available. Participants are encouraged to bring bottled water and a flashlight, and to wear non-cotton clothing. Date may be adjusted in the case of inclement weather conditions. This three-hour guided tour will take participants down Holmes Creek to Cypress Springs in a canoe or kayak. Once at Cypress Springs, spend the day snorkeling or swimming! Participants will meet at Postl Point and are encouraged to bring a swimsuit, sunglasses, a hat, towel, ID and a change of clothes. Cost is $25 per person and includes everything you will need. Night SUP Glow Tour Saturday, July 31 | 7 pm
Calling all paddleboarders - you don’t want to miss Night SUP Glow Tours, an after-hours paddle excursion on the water off Postl Point! Paddleboards are equipped with high-powered waterproof LED lights for a dazzling watercraft adventure like no other. The trip is intended for experienced paddle boarders and is open to all base personnel and their registered guests. Cost

Hourly Child Care
Monday - Friday | 7 am - 5 pm Eglin’s Child Development Center (CDC II & III) now offers hourly care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years on a space-available basis only. Reservations may be made up to 30 days in advance. Cost is $4 per hour and payment must be made each day by 5 p.m. Because of the importance of rest for young children, dropoffs cannot be accepted between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Parents must provide a change of clothes, labeled bottles of formula or milk, diapers, wipes, and closed-toed shoes.
Early Learning Matters The Eglin CDC is excited to implement the Early Learning Matters (ELM) curriculum! Developed for use in DoD Child Development Centers, the ELM curriculum gives military children a strong foundation by promoting skills linked to school readiness, well-being and life success. The multifaceted approach for children ages 0-5 includes staff-guided learning experiences, observations, assessment plans and parenting tips for families to extend learning at home. Family Child Care Provider
Persons interested in a career as an Eglin Family Child Care (FCC) provider can obtain licensing through the Eglin FCC office and earn a potential monthly income of $4,500! Any on-base individual providing care for another family’s child for more than 10 hours a week on a regular basis must be licensed. Providers are needed to offer care for a wide variety of needs, including hourly, part time, full time, evenings, weekends, special needs, and overnight care. The Eglin FCC office is also seeking individuals living off-base in the surrounding communities to become licensed affiliated child care providers. Affiliated providers must be spouses of a military ID card holder (active or retired) and must meet the State of Florida registered requirements prior to receiving an affiliated certificate from the Eglin MSG commander.
