Helpful Tips for

DEERS/ID Customers

DID YOU KNOW? . . . TRICARE For Life (TFL) eligibility is for those ages 65 and over. This includes retirees and their eligible spouses; un-remarried former spouses (DB); and survivors of deceased retirees, Active Duty, Guard and Reserve members. Those who are enrolled in DEERS must provide a copy of the Medicare card provided by the SSA that reflects eligibility to Medicare (Parts A and B). The eligibility date is normally the first day of the month when an individual turns 65.
