Senior Golf Tournament

Saturday, February 16 8 am Shotgun Start | Eagle Course The Eglin Golf Course invites all players ages 50 and up to compete in their annual Seniors Golf Tournament.

Flights include Championship, age 50 and over; Senior, ages 50-65; Super Senior, ages 66 and over; and Ladies, all ages. Pairings will be made based on handicap within flights/division by Golf Course management and announced the day prior to tournament play. Players without a USGA handicap must play as a scratch golfers.

Entry fee is $35 Gold, $50 Silver, $75 Non AGF and includes greens fee, cart fee, skins and prizes. All winners, gross and net, will be paid via credit book. Visit or contact the Pro Shop to sign up by Wed, February 13.

Valentine's Day Sunrise Paddle February 14 | 6 am

Take in a sunrise over the water this Valentine's Day with your significant other, a friend, or just on your own!

Eglin Outdoor Recreation is hosting a Valentine Sunrise Paddle on Choctawhatchee Bay. Participants will meet at Postl Point to set out on their choice of a kayak or stand-up paddle board. Outdoor Rec will provide all equipment, and some refreshments will be offered. Cost is $15 per person.

Disney Salutes the U.S. Armed Forces Walt Disney World is saluting the U.S. Armed Forces by offering specially priced Salute Tickets to eligible military members at an amazing savings! Tickets are available for purchase now at Eglin ITT, and are valid for use from January 1 to December 19, 2019. Armed Forces Salute Ticket prices are as follows:

• Spouse Employment Workshop

Third Thursday of Every Month | 9 - 11 am

Calling all military spouses! The Eglin Airman & Family Readiness Center wants to help you find a job. Join them for an upcoming Spouse Employment Workshop and search for local jobs, learning how to use the different application processes and special employment assistance programs specifically designed for military spouses. • Mardi Gras at The Bayview Friday, February 15 | 3:30 - 6 pm

All Eglin personnel and families are invited to a Mardi Gras celebration at The Bayview, featuring a FREE "N'awlins"-inspired buffet for Bayview members and their immediate family. (Admission is $5 for all others, ages 3 and up.) Fill up on a delicious "all-you-can-eat" menu of Jambalaya, Red Beans and Sausage, Rice, Buttered Corn and more. Enjoy indoor games and activities, including a craft table for the kids. Members are also reminded to pick up their February Bayview Bucks.

• Parents' Night Out

Saturday, February 23 | 5 - 10 pm

Eglin's Child Development Center offers a special time for parents to enjoy a "Parents' Night Out" one Saturday every month. This popular child care program provides a break for parents while children are safely supervised in a fun and exciting environment. Families with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years may sign up on a space-available basis for $25 per child. Activities for children will include games, movies and craft projects.

Caribbean Cruise on Carnival Vista September 20, 2020

Check out Carnival’s newest ship, the Mardi Gras with Eglin ITT! There will be six themed areas packed with brand-new experiences for eating, drinking and spectacular fun. Military Saves is an annual DoD-wide financial readiness campaign that encourages the military community to meet immediate needs and build long-term wealth through saving and debt reduction. Eglin ITT invites basketball fans to experience live NBA action with a day trip to Smoothie King Center in New Orleans to see the Pelicans play the Phoenix Suns. Cost is $120 per person for round trip transportation, game admission, and a special Fan Experience. Registration deadline is Friday, March 1.
