Car Basics:

What you Need To Know Wednesday, February 27 5 - 7 pm Do you struggle when it comes to basic car maintenance? You’re not alone - Auto Hobby is here to help!

Join them for a new class, Car Basics: What You Need To Know.

A short in-class session will be followed by hands-on learning in the shop. Learn how to identify different auto parts and systems, check and adjust tire pressure, and talk to an Auto Shop about issues and repairs. Participants will change a tire, check and replace fluids, and jump-start a car, so please wear closed-toe shoes. No experience is preferred! Space is limited, call Auto Hobby to reserve your spot. There will be pizza!

• Operation CCAF Completion

Third Thursday of every month | 8 - 10 am

The Eglin Education Center wants to help you complete your CCAF degree! Join them for a briefing every third Thursday of the month at the Education Center (Bldg 251, Room 111). They’ll review degree requirements and can help address any specific questions. Active Duty enlisted members are automatically enrolled in the CCAF, and Air Force education and training counts towards a degree! For more information, please contact the Education Center.

• Military Saves Week - Pledge to Save February 25 - March 1

The Eglin Airman & Family Readiness Center encourages Team Eglin to take an active role in their financial well-being and celebrate Military Saves Week, Monday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 1. Military Saves is an annual DoD-wide financial readiness campaign that encourages the military community to meet immediate needs and build long-term wealth through saving and debt reduction. • "March Madness" 3-Point Shootout Friday, March 8 | 5 pm

Come compete in our 3-point shoot! All ballers are invited to put up their best shots at the "March Madness" 3-Point Shootout, happening on the basketball courts in the main Eglin Fitness Center. Competition is open to everyone with base access. Visit the Fitness Center's front desk to sign up by March 7.

• Indoor Bouldering Trip

Join Eglin Outdoor Recreation for a visit to Rock Out Climbing Gym in Destin. Rock Out is a premier indoor rock climbing facility that provides adventurers a place to seek new challenges, socialize with other active people, and enjoy an amazing workout - all while having fun. This two-hour scheduled event starts with departure time from the Eglin Outdoor Rec Center at Postl Point. The trip costs $10, and round trip transportation is included. Participants must be a minimum age of 13 years old and are encouraged to wear athletic clothing. Contact Outdoor Rec to sign up.
