5 Club Tournament

Saturday • June 16 | 8 am

The Eglin Golf Course invites all eligible golfers to the 5 Club Tournament on Saturday, June 16. Bring your 5 best clubs and a putter for the 8 a.m. shotgun start on the Eagle course. Participation is open to all authorized DoD personnel and their sponsored guests. Play is flighted and based on number of entries. Cost is $20 per person for non-AGF, plus fees, and $15 per person for AGF players, plus fees. Full handicap (GHIN only.)

NFL Football Ticket Lottery Monday • June 18 | 10:30 am

Eglin ITT is ready to kick off its annual NFL Football Ticket Lottery! Stop by the ITT office on Monday, June 18, to score your Superdome seats to a New Orleans Saints game of your choice. Each person in attendance will receive a lottery number beginning at 10:30 a.m., with ticket sales beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets will be available for lower level seating in the Superdome (Section 129, Rows 22-25). Participants can choose to purchase a ticket only, a day trip package (includes round trip transportation), or an overnight trip package (includes round trip transportation and one night lodging).

The Eglin Auto Hobby Shop offers FREE oil changes through partnership with Eglin's Airman & Family Readiness Center. Eligible recipients are First Term Airmen (E1-E4) who schedule a one-on-one budget appointment at the A&FRC, and Spouses of active duty Air Force members who are currently deployed or on remote assignment, with their enrollment in the Hearts Apart program. Flyboard is a brand of hydroflighting device that supplies propulsion to drive the flyboard in the air to perform hyrdroflying. A Flyboard rider stands on a board connected by a long hose to a watercraft. This excursion is a SAPI event open to single airmen without a spouse stationed at Eglin. Cost is $25 per person (airmen are able to sign up one non-eligible guest.) Each participant is allotted 20 mins on the flyboard.

• Surfing Lessons (7 Spots Left)

Sunday • June 17 | 8 am

Summer is here and the surf is waiting! This clinic is open for all skill levels, whether you have never surfed before or you want to sharpen your riding skills. This two-hour clinic includes an hour of instructional time and an hour to practice your newly learned surfing skills. Cost is $15, and includes transportation and equipment. Minimum age to participate is eight years old.

The Team Eglin 5/6 Club is partnering with the Eglin Education Center to host an Education Fair at the Eglin Fitness Center, featuring representatives from several universities, colleges, and schools. All base personnel and families are welcome to attend. Get information on education and career options and degree programs available from schools that have a signed agreement with DoD to provide you with the highest education possible! Guidance counselors and advisors will be on hand, plus information on CLEP/DSST testing, credit transfers, and financial aid.

• Caving & Rafting Adventure (10 Spots Left) Friday • June 22 | 6 am - Sunday • June 24 | 5 pm

This three-day excursion includes a stop in Sweetwater, TN, for an overnight Wild Cave Tour in undeveloped caverns. Follow that up with a day at Quest Expeditions, taking you on a full whitewater rafting trip of the Ocoee River and a campout that night in Hiwassee State Park.
