The Alpha Warrior Tour is a service-wide program that utilizes specially designed, state-of-the-art obstacle apparatus called Battle Rigs and Battle Stations, with an aim to provide airmen an opportunity to enhance functional fitness and to achieve a greater level of resiliency at home and while deployed. Challenges are open for all DoD personnel and family members, and will take place at the tennis courts located in front of the Eglin Fitness Center. • Sunday Brunch at Chef Ernie's
Everyone's invited to enjoy Chef Ernie's Sunday Brunch served every Sunday 11 a.m. 4 p.m. at the Eglin Golf Course. Adults price is $16.99 and $8.99 for ages 12 and under. The daily Breakfast menu will be available from 6:30-10:30 a.m. for the early risers. The Bayveiw Sunday Breakfast will no longer be served after July 15. • Eglin Youth Programs Fall Sports Season
Fall sports are right around the corner! Registration for Youth Soccer & Flag Football will be open July 5 through Aug. 17 at the Eglin Youth Center, available Monday-Friday from noon to 5:30 p.m. Cost is $50 per child, or $100 per family. Soccer: Players must be age 5 prior to Aug. 28, and under age 14 prior to Nov. 4. Flag Football: Players must be age 6 prior to Aug. 28, and under age 14 prior to Nov. 4. All youth participating in sports must have a current sports physical, shot record, and a birth certificate on file before participation can begin. This two-hour guided excursion will take participants on a kayaking trip to a small secluded beach for an amazing view of the night sky, a small fire with s'mores, and a moonlit paddle back to Postl Point. Gain a hands-on knowledge of basic sailing terminology, boat handling skills, and boating safety. This course is designed for beginners with little or no sailing experience.
