Join Eglin ITT on a 10-day tour from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, discovering the beauty and history of Israel. Registration for youth Basketball and Cheerleading is now open at the Eglin Youth Center, available Monday-Friday from 12-5:30 p.m. Registration is $50 per child, or $100 per family. (Returning cheerleaders pay only $25 if they already have a uniform.) All participants must be age 5 prior to Nov. 3, 2018, and under age 13 prior to March 2, 2019. Basketball player evaluations will be held Nov. 15 at 5:30 p.m. for ages 9-12; players under age 9 will be placed on teams according to age group, without evaluations. Practices are held on Eglin beginning Dec. 3, with games played at the Eglin or Hurlburt Youth Centers on Saturdays from Jan. 12-March 2, 2019.

Youth Basketball & Cheerleading
Mandatory Parent Orientation meetings will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, and Thursday, Nov. 29, at 5:30 p.m. in the Eglin Youth Center gym. All youth participating in sports must have a current sports physical, shot record showing current flu shot, birth certificate, and recent Parent Orientation completion on file prior to starting practices. • Dog Obedience Classes

Your canine companion will learn basic obedience commands and good doggy manners, and individual behavioral problems such as excessive barking and jumping will be addressed. Course sessions last five weeks, with classes held for a maximum of 8 dogs. The first class meeting will be for owners only (no dogs should attend, please!). Attention, expectant fathers! Eglin's Airman & Family Readiness Center invites you to "Dad's 101: The Basics." This new parent support program is where new and soon-to-be dads can learn how to be an integral part of the pregnancy, childbirth, coping with crying, how to bathe a baby, and other baby care processes. FallFest Volunteers Needed Friday • October 26
Eglin Outdoor Recreation is looking for several dozen decorated vehicles to populate Trunk or Treat Lane at this year's FallFest! If you would like to volunteer to showcase your "spooky-fied" vehicle and pass out treats to children, we would like to hear from you. Individual and Squadron "Best Trunk" winners will be awarded prizes! The Lane is open from 5-7 p.m.; all trunks are asked to be in their assigned space by 4:30 p.m. Candy supplies will be supplemented by 96 FSS while supplies last. Eglin Outdoor Recreation presents Archery Tag! Similar to dodgeball, Archery Tag is played with bows and patented foam-tipped arrows. This exciting, action-packed game offers the ultimate family-friendly experience that engages everyone. Two 5-player teams play opposite one another with a "safe zone" in between. Enjoy the outdoor sport of bouldering right here in Northwest Florida — and without the outdoors! Join Eglin Outdoor Recreation for a visit to Rock Out Climbing Gym in Destin. Rock Out is a premier indoor rock climbing facility that provides adventurers a place to seek new challenges, socialize with other active people, and enjoy an amazing workout, all while having fun. This two-hour scheduled event starts with departure time from the Eglin Outdoor Rec Center at Postl Point. Cost to participate is $10, and round trip transportation is provided.
