Jingle Bell 5K Fun Run Friday • December 14 | 7 am Start

The Eglin Fitness Center invites all base personnel to Eglin's first Jingle Bell 5K Fun Run. Show time is 6:30 a.m. at the CE Pavilion on Cypress Road, with the run starting at 7 a.m. Participants are welcome to wear their holiday attire. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. Participation is FREE for all base personnel. Be one of the first 30 participants to register in person at the Eglin Fitness Center and receive a FREE t-shirt on race day! Fitness Center | 850-882-6223

WinterFest! FREE Holiday Fun

Tuesday • December 18 5 - 7 pm | The Bayview

All Team Eglin personnel and families are invited to The Bayview for WinterFest! — an evening of FREE indoor holiday festivities and activities for the kids, outdoor rides, and $4,000 in prize drawings. The holiday fun will also feature a free hors d'oeuvre buffet and visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Winners of Eglin's 2018 Organizational Greeting Card Contest will be announced and cash awards will be presented at 5:30 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Sunday • December 16 | 1 - 4 pm

Bicycle, skateboard, and scooter riders are invited to check out the Air Force Pump Track Tour, coming to the Eglin Outdoor Recreation Center's parking area at Postl Point. Pump tracks are structures designed to provide an active and fun place for youth to ride. Some bicycles, skateboards, and scooters will be available for use, but riders are welcome to bring their own. And don't forget your helmet! The event is FREE and the track will be open to all ages with riding skill. Registration is not required. There will be a drawing to give away a bicycle, a skateboard, and a scooter!
