Dear Friends, With sincere appreciation, we honor and recognize our Scheck Hillel Community School donors for all they made possible during the 2015-2016 school year. This publication shares some of the learning experiences brought to life by contributors: generous friends investing in our students’ educational journeys. This Honor Roll of Contributors lists the levels of giving and includes all of last year’s donors who have made a gift or pledge to our school from July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2016. We uphold our commitment to privacy for Scheck Hillel and Kesher faculty and staff by listing those who contributed as ‘anonymous’ in this Honor Roll. Scheck Hillel Community School is proud to be part of the Create a Jewish Legacy collaborative endowment program (CJL) that benefits Miami’s Jewish agencies, synagogues, day schools and The Foundation of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. Through this program, you can create a lasting legacy to match your values and passions with the community’s needs. A legacy gift of any size can be designed to match your personal situation. Together, we can impact the future of the Jewish community and make a difference in the lives of generations to come. In May 2016, Scheck Hillel hosted its first CJL exclusive event. Underwritten by Richard Steiner and Northwestern Mutual at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) with 50 guests in attendance, it was a beautiful commitment to enriching the future today. Thanks to our amazing community, Scheck Hillel is able to provide nearly 200 need-based tuition assistance grants each year. It is solely because of the generosity of our donors and our volunteers that this was achieved again this year. More than ever, our students led active roles to raise awareness of the Kulanu Scholarship Fund, palpable in the numerous activities and fundraisers that took place throughout the year and, especially, during Kulanu Scholarship Fund Awareness Month in May.
