A NOTE FROM
OUR PRESIDENT Dear prospective family members,
welcome
Thank you for your interest in Father Judge High School. Our school is based on the philosophy of Salesian Spirituality which calls us to see all human lives as precious gifts from God, filled with possibilities. This philosophy was formed by our Patron Saint, St. Francis de Sales, and has helped shape the minds and souls of thousands of young men who are now very successful. While welcoming you, I am also excited to welcome one of our successful graduates as our new principal. Rev. James Dalton, O.S.F.S. brings extensive administrative experience as a past school principal and school president, and has the academic credentials to lead our school in our continuing quest for academic excellence.
Rev. Joseph G. Campellone, O.S.F.S.
The philosophy of Salesian Spirituality has also shaped our school’s mission and continues to guide our future plans. Today, Judge is looked upon as a model for others to follow. Not only do we challenge our students to develop strong, moral, decision-making skills, but we also provide them with tools to become our future leaders. Over the last few years we started our Robotics Program, our Knights Program in the Brisson Center to help students with learning challenges, and our new Construction Science Program, which offers credited classes in electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills. Our Honors Program continues to receive national recognition. Our Model United Nations program is known throughout the world as a dominant program that wins competitions on a regular basis. All of our classrooms include state-of-the-art technology with Smartboards, wireless technology and Internet capability. Our activities and athletics are recognized throughout the state as elite programs. No school has the athletic facilities that our school provides, with the new William F. Mitchell Activity Center and our state-of-the-art McGonigal Fitness Center inside. Our Fox Gym was just renovated with a new floor, bleachers and lighting. Our Arts Program offers many opportunities such as Music and Band, and our Theater Department performances, which receive high marks from local critics. This year we have begun construction for our new athletic fields. They will include new baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and rugby practice fields. All fields will be new Astroturf fields. Many other attractive programs are a part of the Father Judge experience. We continue to be acclaimed as a private school at a Diocesan price tag. I am proud to lead this great school. Please feel free to stop by to hear more and see for yourself. In Salesian Spirit & Crusader Pride, Rev. Joseph G. Campellone, O.S.F.S. President
