REGULATIONS
Aceh is a special autonomy province that has friendly investment laws and regulations. Law No. 11 of 2006 on Aceh Governance The law gives the Government of Aceh privileges to govern the province including in maximizing the region potential to improve health, safety and public welfare. Law No. 37 of 2000 on Sabang Free Port and Free Trade Zone It concludes a wide range of facilities for doing business in Sabang, such as import duty and tax exemption. The Sabang Management and Development Agency (BPKS) operates the zone has an authorized to issue all licensing for investment in this area. Presidential Regulation No. 11 of 2010 on Cooperation between the Government of Aceh and Foreign Institutions. The regulation allows a wide authority for the Government of Aceh to establish cooperation with foreign institutions, especially in economic development.

COFFEE: 2012, Aceh export volumes of coffee beans (Robusta and Arabica) to 18 countries were up to 9,703,260.00 kg. Three mayor producers: BenerMeriah, Central Aceh and GayoLues.
COCONUT: Virgin Coconut Oil processing industry; planted area 107, 395 ha and total production 59,766 ton. Areas: Aceh Besar, Bireuen, North Aceh.
PATCHOULI: The best patchouli in the world. Planted area: 3,848 ha and total production 2,283 ton. Target area: Aceh Jaya, West Aceh, Gayo Lues, South Aceh.
LIVESTOCK: Beef Industry development, “Aceh Halal Beef”. Livestock area in Aceh is 1.525.578 Ha; involves rearing of both breeding and fattening. Target areas: Aceh Besar, Pidie, Bener Meriah, Central Aceh and Nagan Raya.
FISHERY: 696,117 tons of fishery production (2012). Target area: East Aceh.

REGULASI
Aceh merupakan daerah Otonomi Khusus, memiliki keunggulan regulasi yang tidak dimiliki oleh provinsiprovinsi lainnya: Undang-Undang No.11 Tahun 2006 tentang pemerintahan Aceh, dengan undang-undang ini Aceh diberi keleluasaan mengatur daerahnya sendiri termasuk perekonomian dengan memanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin potensi daerah yang ada untuk kesejahteraan umum. Undang-Undang No.37 Tahun 2000 tentang Pelabuhan Bebas dan Perdagangan Bebas Sabang, suatu wilayah otorita perekonomian yang bebas dari bea masuk maupun bea keluar. Semua perizinan investasi di kawasan ini, baik modal dalam negeri maupun modal asing, menjadi kewenangan Badan Pengusahaan Kawasan Sabang (BPKS).

Sejak 2000, saya telah mengekspor kopi ke Korea Selatan, Malaysia, Jepang, Singapora, USA, dan Belanda. Warung kopi saya banyak dikunjungi oleh turis dan pekerja asing. Selain kopi Gayo, kami juga memproduksi kopi luwak dan siap di eksport ke pasar internasional.
