REFLECTED CEILING PLAN
Nationwide Dental provider Optimal Dental is looking to re-brand and expand their services. It is important to the client to create an environment that is suitable for patients of all ages. They would like to expand to serve a higher volume of families while ensuring comfort for all. The current office location is Austin, Texas, however, since Optimal Dental is looking to expand, they want to ensure the flow of the space is replicable and the equipment technologically advanced. Neither of these requirements should affect the patient experience in a negative way or create an atmosphere that is cold or sterile.

C O N C E P T S TAT E M E N T For this project, I will be abstracting forms from a safari exploration. In doing this, the interior will promote a sense of adventure and discovery for the user. Clients will be confronted with a feeling of exploration as they enter the dental office and travel through the halls constructed with natural materials and lined with depictions of wildlife.

The space will promote an organized, hygienic, aesthetically pleasing workplace while being inviting to everyone who walks in the door. Staff should have enough areas for privacy and respite while also being accessible to patients. Optimal Dental intends to brand itself as a unique and relaxing experience while providing their clients with the highest form of care.
