About The Council
The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) opens channels of opportunity for the development of Black executives to positively impact business and our communities.
Talent Pipeline and Leadership Development
The ELC is committed to advancing the role and contributions of Black executives and preparing the next generation of corporate leaders through a series of programs and events created by our Institute for Leadership Development and Research. These offerings enable us to open channels of opportunity for the development of Black executives to positively impact business and our communities. The Institute aims to strengthen the talent pipeline of Black leaders, providing top-rate leadership programs that focus on individual growth at different career levels.

The Mid-Level Managers’ Symposium (MLMS) is a two-day program conducted by The ELC’s Institute comprising more than 1,000 high-potential Black professionals. MLMS takes advantage of the skills and experience of ELC members and other corporate executives who provide mid- level managers with best practices, career strategies and insights regarding the corporate and business skills needed to advance.

Power of Women at Work (Virtual)
OVERVIEW
The Power of Women at Work (POWW) will bring together the foremost women business leaders for a day of practical workshops and speaker spotlights.
Participants can expect to interact with these thought leaders, who will provide their expert insights on topics such as authenticity in the workplace, identifying and navigating bias, and mitigating the effects of gender and race inequity.
Black Men in Leadership (Virtual)

Black Men in Leadership (BML) is designed for early to mid-career Black men in the corporate space. The research will show what the trends are for Black men in the corporate space - where Black men were, where they are currently and where the trend is pointing to. The seminar will bring together a diverse pool of industry leading speakers from various industries to offer practical workshops, panel discussions, and insights on successfully navigating the corporate space.
CEO GameChanger Conference®

The CEO GameChanger Conference® is a half- day peer-to-peer experience designed to provide CEOs with strategies to enact systemic and measurable change to advance Black leaders to Corporate Directors, CEO, C- Suite and senior executive positions to close the representation gaps.
Women’s Leadership Forum
TARGET AUDIENCE
Exclusive to ELC Women Members and select guests, which include luminaries, influencers, global business and civic leaders.
OVERVIEW
The Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) is a one-day program organized by women members for women members of The Executive Leadership Council. WLF features straightforward and transformative sessions relevant for today’s women business leaders while showcasing their brilliance and collective strength.

ELC Scholars Program

Black undergraduate and graduate students attending accredited two- or four-year higher education institutions.

The ELC is committed to building a pipeline of Black corporate talent by supporting the academic achievement and development of Black students. We provide both graduate and undergraduate scholarships on behalf of corporate partners, as well as provide a robust professional development workshop series for the students called Honors Symposium. The ELC philanthropy team handles all administrative aspects of the program and can help your organization develop programming to meaningfully engage with our scholars.
