“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1)

A Message from Millicent Williams – Administrator

Welcome back children and parents, you were surely missed! I hope everyone had a joyous and peaceful holiday. We have made many changes and additions since we last meet in December of 2014 and I hope you are pleased. Two new staff members have joined The Academy one on Monday, December 29, 2014; Mrs. Whitney Pete, Lead Teacher for the Pre-K classroom and on Wednesday, January 7, 2015; Ms. Mary Dula, Lead Teacher for the Beginners classroom. Five new students enrolled in the academy: Carter & Carson Pete, Faith Sherrill, and Jaliya Frazier. The infant classroom has opened and will be welcoming Little Miss Tiana Armstrong on Monday, January 12. Also, the Toddler (12-24 months) and School-Age (5 years – 12 years of age) classrooms are ready to accept children. Hopefully, by the end of this month, God will bless us with many more new students. If you know of anyone needing childcare, please use your referral incentive. God has his hands on us and we are gladly embracing his hold. The hallway’s of the Academy has been distinguished with insects as mascots, each classroom has a mascot and the mascot has a name. The 2015 Holiday schedule has been printed and is located on the Parent FYI table, please take one for your reference guide. Also, Mrs. Trauval Godfrey has emailed a copy to the parents that we have an accurate email on file. If you did not receive your copy, please make sure Mrs. Williams has an updated email address. Keep in mind, that the Academy will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2015 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. The PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 6:00pm in the Multi-purpose room. As always, I am here to assist and help you and your children, should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask and/or stop by my office. I am usually on site 8:00am – 6:00pm or 8:30am – 4:40pm. Thank you for all that you do for children in Christ Sake; continue to pray for us and we will pray for you. God Bless!
