Obituary Colman Gilbert Domingo aka “Gilly” and or “Chico,” was born to Idolly Locke & Claudius Domingo of Belize Central America, who preceded him in death. Two surviving sisters, Barbara Jones of Los Angeles, CA and Angelita Uk Staine of Belize City, Belize. Colman’s early education was received at Calvery Temple School in Belize City. He began his Ministry of the Gospel at the age of nineteen. Not too long after, he migrated to the United States (Chicago) where he became an ordained minister. He traveled extensively preaching at numerous church revivals. He was also a well sought after builder who once worked the Baltimore railways. He built churches, houses, and worked on commercial properties. Colman was also a chef in his own right and spent a lot of his time in the kitchen. He loved to have fun and was always the light of the party. Colman enjoyed storytelling, always sharing his comical escapades and adventures. He kept everyone laughing. Colman leaves behind to cherish his memories his children Rhona, Colman Jr., Derrick, Colman Domingo III, Rosemarie, Errolyn, Avery, Karen, and Juanita, and a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

And remember only the smile Forget unkind words I have spoken Remember some good I have done Forget that I ever had heartache And remember I’ve had loads of fun Forget that I’ve stumbled and blundered And sometimes fell by the way Remember I have fought some hard battles And won, ere the close of the day Then forget to grieve for my going I would not have you sad for a day But in summer just gather some flowers And remember the place where I lay And come in the shade of evening When the sun paints the sky in the west Stand for a few moments beside me And remember only my best Thank You... The family of Rev. Colman Gilbert Domingo, would like to take this opportunity to express our heart felt gratitude to the many who have helped us through this difficult time. We truly appreciate the outpouring of love and support extended to our family. If you sent a card, took the time to call, or simply said a prayer. We thank you!
