My name is Ezra and I am a graphic designer. I live in New York City. This is my portfolio of design work. It is a combination of branding, posters, and personal projects.
The Trevor Project
My work for The Trevor Project was to rebrand their existing identity and update it with modern typography and unify their brand. From their existing identity, I only kept the color they chose and I changed the logo, logotype, and tagline. My goal was to make the identity look more inviting to people and encourage interaction with their brand. For this project, I created a logo and identity system, posters, and other apparel and merchandise.
Dior x Nike My Dior X Nike project is a collection of four posters for a hypothetical collaboration between the two brands. My goal was to combine the modern and sleek Nike aesthetic with the classical and elegant Dior aesthetic. I used photography from both Nike and Dior to make the posters. The purpose of the campaign is to advertise a collaboration fashion show happening in New York City.
Dinner At Home Dinner at Home is a service that provides nutritious meals to single mothers that need assistance with putting food on the table. For them, I designed and created an identity system. They wanted an identity that was modern and simple, yet professional and distinctive. My goal was to make them a typographic identity that integrated the two main aspects of their mission: dinner and homes. For them, I created a logo and business cards.
Somnium Somnium is an issue of Cura Magazine, a creative writing magazine at Fordham University that is released annually. This project was created in conjunction with the editors of Cura and I was tasked with creating a unique visual identity for their new Somnium issue. Knowing that they wanted a modern take on a latin word, I chose to use a blackletter font with modern quirks paired with a sans serif font. The identity consisted of posters that had unique visual elements and apparel.
Ezra Worldwide Ezra worldwide is my ongoing self branding project. As a graphic designer, I felt that I needed a unique visual identity and this project is an evolution of that process. My personal graphic identity is inspired by Ray Gun Magazine, the photography of Hannah Diamond, graphic designers like Timothy Luke and Paula Scher, as well as the glitchy Y2K aesthetic of the early 2000s.
