FUN WITH THE BARD

You won’t want to miss the Apex Theatre of Jacksonville’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged at the Historic Ritz Theatre on Saturday, July 30. Three madcap performers in Elizabethan dress (and sneakers) weave their way through all 37 of Shakespeare’s tragedies, comedies, and histories at a breakneck pace. Originally premiering in London, this irreverent rollercoaster ride through all the Bard’s plays went on to become its longest running comedy. The Today Show declared, “If you like Shakespeare, you’ll love this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you’ll love this show.” One show only at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at goldenislesarts.org.
