The Art of Giving at its Finest

Thanks to the continued support of RSM, corporate sponsors, local community partners, volunteers and fans, 2021 is shaping up to be another milestone year for The RSM Classic, hopefully reaching $25 million raised for charity. The Davis Love Foundation has truly elevated the act of giving to an art! To help them reach this impactful number, and join the “Drive to $25 Million,” please plan to be a part of this year’s RSM Classic through purchasing one of the ticket packages to attend November 18-21 or by participating in the Friends of the Foundation car raffle.

This year you can enjoy The RSM Classic with an exciting and new all-inclusive hospitality offering: The Seaside Terraces. The Seaside Terraces provide a strolling hospitality experience with multiple viewing platforms located in strategic locations on the Seaside Course. Complimentary food and beverages, including Grab & Go menu items and full bar service (beer, seltzers, wine) are offered, as well as access to private restroom facilities at #17 Venue. A limited number of tickets to The Seaside Terraces are available, with flexible ticket packages that include daily and weekly access. Weekly Seaside Terraces Packages include VIP Valet Parking. To purchase a weekly package, please contact John McKenzie at 912.634.3268 or jmckenzie@ dlovefoundation.com.

Hail to our heroes! The RSM Classic is proud to support all of our area’s firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, police officers, rescuers and any other first responders. and women will have access to the new Heroes Outpost located near #9 green. The Heroes Outpost is a covered hospitality venue that includes complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages as well as premium golf viewing. Patron Pass tickets to the Tournament Grounds are available at no charge to each First Responder and one (1) guest. All active and retired servicemen and women with proper ID will be granted admission to the tournament at no charge. In addition, special tournament pricing is available to all military veterans. Visit RSMClassic.com and see the first responder and military tabs to learn more about reserving tickets as first responders or active duty or retired military personnel.

Here’s what you can expect during tournament week:

The tournament grounds are closed to the public Monday-Wednesday so the PGA Tour players can get in some practice rounds and the Pro-Am events scheduled. On Tuesday, there is a special Meet the Pros event presented by the St. Simons Island Rotary. Planning is underway for the 10th year of this exciting evening, which will once again take place in the Mizner Ballroom at The Cloister on Sea Island on November 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Presented during tournament week of the RSM Classic, Meet The Pros gives attendees a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with RSM Classic golfers and PGA Tour pros during an upscale cocktail and heavy hors d’oeuvres reception. The lively event also includes live and silent auctions and exclusive personal interviews with the Pros by ESPN Golf commentator Rich Styles. All proceeds from the evening benefit more than a dozen children’s charities in the Golden Isles community. Tickets are just $100 per person and include a complimentary Any Day Pass to the RSM Classic – a $70 value itself! Tickets will be available for purchase online at ssirotary.org.

The community is invited to come out and watch the tournament get underway beginning on Thursday, November 18. Gates at the Sea Island Golf Club will open at 9:00 a.m. Thursday through Sunday. The Merchandise Tent will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Round 1 on Thursday and Round 2 on Friday will be played on both the Seaside and Plantation courses, with tee times to be announced. Play shifts exclusively to the Seaside course on Saturday for Round 3. This is also Military Appreciation Day, so any active or retired servicemen and servicewomen are encouraged to attend. The Final Round will be played at Seaside on Sunday, with tee times to be announced. The Trophy Presentation takes place on the 18th green immediately following the completion of play.

Come experience why The RSM Classic has established itself as a “Seaside Tradition” here in the Golden Isles. You’ll not only have a great time watching some fantastic golf, you’ll also be making a difference for children and families in need. For additional information and tickets, visit RSMClassic.com.
