Sharing our Thanksgiving Traditions

“Each day in November, my kids write down something they’re thankful for on a paper leaf and hang them up in our home. On Thanksgiving Day, we take time to read them all and see how many things we have to be thankful for.” - Kendra, St Simons Clinic

“Thanksgiving to me means going to my grandparents in Anniston, Alabama. My family from Mobile, Alabama and my uncle’s family from Madison, New Jersey meet in Anniston for a weekend of good food and football. It is always a heated Saturday over Thanksgiving weekend with the Iron Bowl being played, both of my parents going to the University of Alabama and my grandparents, aunt, and uncle going to Auburn University. It is a weekend I look forward to every year, always reassuring me of how lucky I am to have a great family around me!” -Edward, St Simons Clinic

“As my grandparents started getting older we decided to divide up the recipes and let each family member pitch in with the cooking. Each year the same person makes the same dish and it takes the stress and responsibility off of one person. -Lindsey, Brunswick Clinic • Low back pain
