She is a smoker, she loves her cocktail, she is fashionable, she is nonchalant, she is always in the company of her party squad.
A commission by independent publisher
Bibliotekaren to illustrate the front page for their quarterly issue, with the topic being about reading today - who reads and how can
we stimulate reading at all ages and all stages in life? Commissioned in collaboration with illustration agency ByHands .
A mock-up branding/packaging project for Finnish craft cider brand Nude Ciders. The story of the naked maidens come from Finnish folklore story in the Kalevala and the
story of Aino. Aino is the beautiful sister of Joukahainen and one of the central figures of the Kalevala. These water maidens are symbols of hope, freedom and joyful living.

what makes you attracted to another person? The written piece covers everything from chemical responses to biological heritage.

Publishing house Forlaget Manifest commissioned me to illustrate and design their annual christmas leaflet. Desipte being a christmas
publication, it was important to keep the theme non-religious/secular and hint to socialist/left wing sentiments.
A commission by Prosa Tidsskrift, an independent publication by NFFO - the Norwegian society for writers and translators of non-fiction. The topic for this bi-monthly issue was ‘faith and
life’, where I contributed with a front page illustrating a surreal universe, containing references to 1700-alchemy, mystisism and mythological symbols.
A commission by Prosa Tidsskrift, an independent publication by NFFO - the Norwegian society for writers and translators of non-fiction.
The topic for this bi-monthly issue was ‘new platforms in litterature’, where I contributed with a front page illustrating the use of digital platforms.
D2 Magazine took a course in ‘The Science of Well-Being’ at Yale University and came back to share some knowledge. I made an illustrated series for the editorial piece, inspired by the New Age movement and the happy hippie style
of the ‘70s. As a summer edition, the client wanted a particular focus on play and vibrant colours.
In this issue of leading norwegian magazine for architecture, Arkitektur N, Daniel Clearwater writes about how the marginalization of non-western architects is leading to homoge -
nous housing developments in Oslo. The illustration highlights the potential of a diverse city, made by diversity in people.
In conversation with architecture student Um-Ul-Banin, we discussed the lack of diversity in the architectural profession and the challenges minority applicants face. I was commissioned
to make this illustration to her essay on the subject for architecture magazine Arkitektur N.
I made this self initiated project as a pilot design for corn flakes packaging. I was inspired by the simplicity and soft colours of the pre -
vious designs of ‘50s and ‘60s, and wanted to see how that could be recreated as a contemporary design.
As a mention of this years Nobel Prize in chemistry, Aftenposten Innsikt wrote an editorial piece on the CRISPR method. Another way of describing the concept is to edit genes, or redesign of genes. In this context, it seemed fitting to present the concept in a series of scenes relating to fashion and commerce. Among the illustrations, the familiar DNA-spiral is depicted, custom taylored in a sewing studio.
