A mock-up branding/packaging project for Finnish craft cider brand Nude Ciders. The story of the naked maidens come from Finnish folklore story in the Kalevala and the
story of Aino. Aino is the beautiful sister of Joukahainen and one of the central figures of the Kalevala. These water maidens are symbols of hope, freedom and joyful living.
A private commission for a kitchen still life illustration, displaying two versions of quince fruits.
I made this self initiated project as a pilot design for corn flakes packaging. I was inspired by the simplicity and soft colours of the pre -
vious designs of ‘50s and ‘60s, and wanted to see how that could be recreated as a contemporary design.
Secret Sauce is a new premium offer of cooking sauces and stir-fry-marinades. Rooted in asian background with worldwide flavours, the sauces span authentic tastes from Asia to India to South America. I developed the illus -
trated series for use spanning from packaging to marketing and branding material. packaging. Brand identity + packaging design by This is Manner.
D2 Magazine took a course in ‘The Science of Well-Being’ at Yale University and came back to share some knowledge. I made an illustrated series for the editorial piece, inspired by the New Age movement and the happy hippie style
of the ‘70s. As a summer edition, the client wanted a particular focus on play and vibrant colours.
Publishing house Forlaget Manifest commissioned me to illustrate and design their annual christmas leaflet. Desipte being a christmas
publication, it was important to keep the theme non-religious/secular and hint to socialist/left wing sentiments.
Two illustrators were commissioned to make a christmas wrapping paper for D2’s december issue. The center fold of the magazine was made rip out, so that the readers could use it as their own christmas wrapping.
