As per the uzh, lots of cool things are happening in Nevada’s burgeoning cannabis space. Creativity is off the charts. Over the last month I’ve seen infused popsicles and snow cones begin to trend as a way to beat those 117-degree days that were plaguing us earlier this summer. Because we thought they were such a chill idea we included a recipe for strawberry and coconut milk popsicles on page 18 so you could give it a go. A genius idea involving CBD has developed on the Las Vegas food scene. Mouths will be watering with the introduction of chef Jesse Garza’s Syrup702 food truck. Specializing in chicken and waffles, chef Garza will put his fine dining experience on wheels with the launch of his brunch-centric food truck. Not only can foodies get their brunch on, but they can also get their daily dose of CBD as infused in Garza’s honey, syrup, and fresh pressed juice offerings. Find out the deets in my story on page 9. As for progress in normalizing the healing plant, there’s been a bit of that too. In July, the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) voted to no longer discipline fighters for cannabis. NSAC, which regulates the state’s boxing and MMA fights, joins the Florida State Boxing Commission, which stopped testing for marijuana completely in May. The new policy went into effect immediately. As we reported in our April issue, the UFC decided retroactively, as of January 1, 2021, a positive drug test for carboxy-THC would no longer be considered a violation unless the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) is able to prove that an athlete intentionally used it for performance-enhancing purposes. Since NSAC and UFC have

cleared the decks for cannabis use, USADA needs to jump on board so that athletes like sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson, who was suspended for a positive marijuana test and therefore ineligible to participate in the Summer Olympics, are not penalized. ICYMI, Nevada’s Legislative body passed AB 341 which legalizes consumption lounges. Governor Sisolak signed the bill on June 4, paving the way for Nevada’s Cannabis Compliance Board to begin holding public meetings and other stakeholder engagement to create regulations once the law becomes effective on October 1. Because there will be a licensing process, word on the street is lounges won't open until mid-year 2022, except for Carson City. Its Board of Supervisors has already voted to outlaw social use venues. In the meantime, if you want to visit a lounge, Nevada has one. Because it sits on sovereign land, Las Vegas’ Paiute Tribe has a tasting room in its NuWu Cannabis Marketplace located in Downtown Las Vegas. To visit the venue, you must plan ahead by reserving a day and time. Visits are limited to slots of 90-minute increments so don’t dawdle. Stay safe out there,

CBD CONSUMER FORUM If you are new to the world of cannabis and are on the hunt for an interactive forum that focuses on cannabidiol (CBD) education, CEIC NV and Deep Roots Harvest are sponsoring “Understanding CBD in the Senior Community” on August 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Doolittle Community Center, located at 1950 N J Street. During her presentation, Dr. Carmen Jones will speak mostly about CBD but will also inform attendees about THC if questions arise.

LIVE MUSIC MAKES ITS POST-PANDEMIC RETURN Coastin’ through summer with the sounds of Cypress Hill and Iration. By Josh Bell

elevatenv.com | august 2021

Cypress Hill will perform at Craig Ranch Regional Park on August 17, supplemented by local culinary outlets and other vendors, for a full-on festival vibe.

CYPRESS HILL Back in April 2020, Cypress Hill was scheduled to perform at Brooklyn Bowl in celebration of 4/20, an appropriate date for the hip-hop group that is one of music’s foremost cannabis proponents. But like everything else at that time, the Cypress Hill show was canceled in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and the group has mostly remained offstage ever since. With the return of live music, Cypress Hill is launching a major U.S. tour beginning this month, with support from hiphop duo Atmosphere and DJ/producer Z-Trip. It also happens to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Cypress Hill’s self-titled debut album, so the delay offers the group an opportunity for a special commemoration and look back. The tour makes its way to Vegas at Craig Ranch Regional Park, supplemented by local culinary outlets and other vendors, for a full-on festival vibe. Before the 2020 Brooklyn Bowl show was canceled, Cypress Hill’s Sen Dog spoke to elevate about the group’s history and longtime cannabis activism. Formed in LA in 1988, Cypress Hill was part of the vanguard of Southern California hip-hop in the 1990s, racking up hits that audiences still go crazy for. “Those songs don’t get old for the audience or the band,” Sen Dog says of performing the group’s most popular material. “I still have the time of my life performing ‘Insane in the Brain’ and ‘How I Could Just Kill a Man’ and ‘Hand on the Pump.’ It makes me feel like I’m 25 years old again.”

You can expect to hear all those songs at Cypress Hill’s Vegas show, possibly accompanied by some deep cuts from the group’s debut album and maybe even some new material. One of the great things about Cypress Hill is that the group’s sound reaches across genres, from hip-hop to rock, and generations. “I see a bonding moment with parents and their kids as they sing along to ‘Insane in the Brain’ and all that stuff,” Sen Dog says. “I couldn’t be more blessed to have such a well-rounded fan base.” And those fans know that Cypress Hill has always been outspoken about their love of cannabis, which has turned into an entire business since widespread legalization (especially for Sen Dog’s bandmate B-Real, who owns a chain of California dispensaries). As Sen Dog says, “I think the cannabis aspect of it is still what moves the band and brings people to see the band, knowing there’s going to be a festival of that nature.” Cypress Hill with Atmosphere, Z-Trip. IRATION Given Las Vegas’ nickname as the unofficial “ninth island,” it makes sense that Hawaiian reggae-rockers Iration have become Vegas regulars. Like Cypress Hill, Iration was scheduled for a Vegas concert in 2020 which was canceled in response to the pandemic, and like Cypress Hill, Iration is now headed back

to Vegas for a make-up date. They’ll be playing at Mandalay Bay Beach, the same venue they were scheduled for last summer, and the perfect place to enjoy the laid-back island vibes of Iration’s music. The members of Iration all hail from Hawaii, although they came together in California and got their start playing college parties and venues around Santa Barbara. Along with acts like Pepper, Rebelution, and Slightly Stoopid (all regular Vegas performers), Iration is part of the SoCal/ Hawaii scene of bands that combine reggae and altrock with a party atmosphere and a chill attitude. Not surprisingly, all those bands are avid cannabis supporters. Although the pandemic put a halt to Iration’s touring plans last year, the band forged ahead in other ways. Iration played three drive-in concerts in Southern California in December 2020, and released a new album, Coastin’, last July. Even without the opportunity to tour extensively, Iration saw the release of Coastin’ as a way to share positive energy with the band’s audience from afar. “That’s the kind of feel that we want to bring—that feeling like there’s no worries, you’re not stressing about anything, you’re just putting on the music and going down the coast, enjoying the ride,” frontman Micah Pueschel told Cannapolitan at the time of the album’s release. Iration’s cannabis support has been demonstrated at events like the Cannabis Cup and Blaze ‘N’ Glory, and the band members have always been open about their love of cannabis. While people were stuck at home last year, Iration not only released a new album but also performed live-stream shows with no limit on viewers, giving fans the chance to privately partake in their cannabis of choice while coasting to Iration’s music. As Iration gets ready for a major tour opening for fellow cannabis enthusiasts 311, the band has released a companion EP to Coastin’, featuring dub remixes of some of the album’s songs, from dub reggae artists like Scientist and Stu Brooks. It’s just another expression of Iration’s perpetually sunny musical outlook.

We’ll know that live music is truly back when the annual Life Is Beautiful festival returns in September, after canceling its 2020 event. Since its launch in 2013, Life Is Beautiful has become Las Vegas’ premier music festival and one of the city’s signature events, and its return is a milestone in the city’s recovery. As always, the festival boasts an eclectic lineup of musical performers, from superstars to local talent, along with culinary offerings, stand-up comedy, art installations and more. When Life Is Beautiful announced its post-pandemic return, organizers didn’t hold back or scale down their ambitions. The three-day festival will be headlined by three massively popular acts from three different areas of music, supported by a cross-genre lineup of big names, critical favorites, and buzzworthy new artists. As always, the festival will take place over multiple square blocks, turning Downtown Las Vegas into one big concert venue. This year’s top headliner is pop star Billie Eilish, whose latest album, Happier Than Ever, was released at the end of July. Eilish has racked up seven Grammys in her short career, and the 19-year-old was the subject of the recent acclaimed documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry. Life Is Beautiful will mark Eilish’s second live show in support of Happier Than Ever (after the iHeartRadio Music Festival the day before, also in Vegas). From a young upstart to elder statesmen, Life Is Beautiful will also feature headliners Green Day, who are nearing 35 years as a band. The veteran alt-rockers have released two standalone singles this year, “Here Comes the Shock” and “Pollyanna,” which are likely to make their way into the band’s set along with classics like “American Idiot” and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).” The third headliner of this year’s Life Is Beautiful is synthy rock band Tame Impala, whose music straddles the line between indie hipsters and mainstream pop fans. Mastermind Kevin Parker is as comfortable collaborating with The Weeknd as he is extolling the virtues of ’60s and ’70s psychedelic rockers, making Tame Impala the perfect act to bridge multiple Life Is Beautiful audience segments. The rest of the bill is packed with artists that audiences will be eager to see, from pop trio Haim to rapper Megan Thee Stallion to rocker St. Vincent to DJ/producer Illenium, who headlined the first-ever concert at Allegiant Stadium in July. It’s the perfect kick-off to live music’s Vegas resurgence.

SWEET! Syrup702 food truck serves up chicken and waffles with a healing side of CBD By Beth Schwartz

O

ne silver lining that has resulted from the pandemic has been the opportunity to reflect, reassess, pivot, and reset our lives and career aspirations. A year of pandemic living certainly gave chef Jesse Garza a chance to take a breather, look around, and explore what part of the culinary scene he should conquer next. He’s already been the fine dining route, having worked at culinary hotspots that have included Red Rock’s T-Bones Chophouse, Trump International Hotel’s DJT Restaurant, and Blume in Henderson. Now he’s bringing his fine dining experience to the most unlikely of places. “I just want to do something on a food truck where it's just more foodie based and become the brunch food truck,” offers Garza, who brands himself using the moniker The Chef Garza. “I want to do stuff that never would have passed at a Strip brunch. I kind of want to just show my style of what The Chef Garza is really all about, especially the dinners that I do— from the intimate dinners to the cannabis dinners—now to this food truck. I'm gonna definitely bring a different style from what everybody's used to seeing on my IG story to this food truck.” This month The Chef Garza will be launching his latest culinary venture in the form of Syrup702, a food truck that will focus primarily on chicken and waffles. “I chose chicken and waffles just because I feel like there's so many different varieties with chicken and waffles that are being done. And it's just such a canvas to me—chicken that I've had so many different ways, and waffles that I want to do so many different ways.” He continues, “I definitely want to just play around with chicken. The sky's the limit. With the truck, I made it where it was

7 QUESTIONS FOR SYRUP702 What is your favorite meal right now? It's still gonna be tacos. It's always gonna be tacos. I love them.

What ingredient could you not live without? I cannot live without thyme. I love thyme—thyme and chicken, thyme and steak. That is my favorite ingredient. What’s your CBD routine? I take CBD about three times a day. In the morning, I usually take City Tree’s Blue Agave tincture or infused honey for breakfast. At lunchtime I'll usually smoke it. In the evening I'll do an RSO or do something like 1000 milligrams CBD. Why do you use it? I use it a lot more for my anxiety that I deal with throughout the day and for my stress level because I'm always up and going. It’s also for my rest and just really the clarity that I get through the evening and so I can sleep all the way through. There are nights I can't even sleep because the tendinitis and arthritis in my hands and fingers hurts from working for years in the kitchen. If you can give one piece of advice to a home chef about cooking with cannabis or CBD, what would it be? Just start off slow and do your research on what's around in CBD. What's left to do on your bucket list of culinary dreams? I want to do a fine dining Mexican restaurant in the future. I know there's a lot out there, but I really want to bring it. How should people track down Syrup702? Just follow the IG page to @chef_garza and the Instagram page is up @syrup702.

so universal, where it's so comforting. I definitely just want to bring a different culture. And I just really want to share that different style of what you can get on a food truck.” Although Chef Garza has designed a menu of unique waffles—Ube, red velvet, cornbread—he has some other ideas under his toque. “I'm also gonna have fun desserts with waffle cones, and ice creams with my signature toppings with gold flake on items. I’ll be working with getting Chumlee hot sauce in there to collaborate with us. Also, FlavorGod seasonings, they've been a huge supporter, especially with IG and what would I do with meal preps and their seasonings are awesome for toppers, so I definitely want to incorporate those into the waffles and the chicken.” Chef Garza’s years spent honing his skills in fine dining kitchens was not all for not. And now Syrup702 will make it accessible to anyone. “I want to bring the fine dining food truck with The Chef Garza to everyone. I really want everybody to know that if you know The Chef Garza you know what I'm bringing to the table. It's going to be that little umph, that little elegancy even if it's on a food truck making something as simple as chicken and waffles or a fresh pressed juice,” Garza explains. “I definitely want to bring that feel of fine dining. You know we feel good when we go out to experience fine dining, so I definitely want to bring that to the food truck.” But the umph and warm feeling chef Garza wants diners to have when they visit Syrup702 isn’t the only good feeling they’ll get. “I'm gonna incorporate CBD into the honey, syrups, and I’ll also be infusing the fresh juices as well,” Garza says, who has been experimenting with a lot of cannabis infused syrups using Blue Agave tincture from City Trees. “It's going to be totally different though, how I envision it with the fresh juices. I really want to just go the route of being really resourceful, showing people how it’s as easy as adding it to lemonade and that can be done with agave and different sugars. “I felt like lifting the stigma slowly with CBD would be perfect, especially by adding it to small items like syrup and fresh juices,” explains Garza. “I definitely want to lift that stigma and show people that not only as a chef, but you can infuse and still consume CBD throughout the day and not just do a flower form but also do food.” Beyond making CBD a brunch staple, chef Garza has other plans. “My goal is definitely the foodie experience. The style that I bring with my food, my plating, the variations of waffles…I definitely want to bring a different showcase to this truck on just plating. I want to do the art of food truck plating.” His ambition and long-range goals are also on the table. “We definitely want to franchise it and definitely spread the word of the food truck and what we're doing with it. Set a culture behind it. Eventually that can lead to a brick and mortar.” The California-born chef has certainly caught the food truck bug and a desire to shift the paradigm on the concept. “I definitely want to get other food trucks and play around with other concepts. I want to introduce the culinary world into the food trucks. I know Vegas is so diverse with restaurants and food trucks. I definitely want to show that goes hand in hand.” But presently, Garza “can't wait to just be on the truck and collaborating with other dispensaries and to just showcase everything with everyone in Vegas.”

Flavor is the Spice of Life Latest cannabis products elevated to next level with focus on dynamic flavor profiles by Justin Alexander The goal for this month’s review was to ferret out tasty cannabis treats that possessed dynamic flavor profiles. The type of products we sought out had to be packed with rich flavors that tantalized the tongue and created a party on the palate. Whether it was savory or sweet, we were seeking edibles, concentrates or flower that were distinctive power houses on the flavor spectrum. We were not disappointed with what we found, and you won’t be either. Bon Appetit!

terpene profile is dominant enough to show up on lab reports although fruits are known to have terpenes. What to expect: The edible game has completely changed in the last three years. The skill of edible chefs is off the charts and traces of weed flavor are undiscoverable. Gourmet chocolate has become a favorite material to use when making edibles. Bite into one and they represent the perfect taste of real cherry and rich chocolate, and you will be scratching your head doubting whether this is infused at all thanks to its great taste. The high takes about 45 minutes to come on and will have you wanting to go grab a bowl of ice cream and then have another. Even better, these are easy to share with friends, so have one and pass on the good vibes.

As with most edibles, use them any way you wish, to wind down, relax, sleep or just be mellow and happy, the dark chocolate and cherry profile is the way to go. Where to find it: Visit omgthc.vegas for a list of dispensaries that carry OMG THC products.

These are so good and easy to eat that you have to remind yourself that they are infused and each one has 10mg THC so you don’t grab a whole handful. The Pretzel Stack layers salty and sweet flavors with the crunchy waffle pretzel stacked with caramel and peanut butter filling topped with a rich dark chocolate square. drink, Curaleaf recently introduced THC-infused beverage enhancer Select Squeeze. This is revolutionary because it turns any drink or frozen treat into something a little bit more fun. The mechanics behind it are cool, literally and figuratively— nano-emulsification technology turns cannabis oil into tiny water-soluble molecules, allowing the product to dissolve in water more easily and be absorbed into a consumer's bloodstream more efficiently. COOL IDEAS RULE WHEN HACKING THE HEAT Triple digit heat demands an icy-cold canna-beverage by Beth Schwartz

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS

FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY This hack was introduced to me by an EGO Brand ambassador. I was at the opening of CannaStarz dispensary and was eyeing an infused peanut butter cookie but was concerned it would go stale before I could eat it, especially because at 20mgs I couldn’t eat it all at once. That’s when the brand ambassador suggested that should it go stale, I use it in a milkshake. It was 110° degrees out so, needless to say, I skipped straight to the milkshake. Yummy!

SLURPEE SIP This hack came to me courtesy of chef Jesse Garza. He adds cannabis beverage enhancer Sip Elixirs to his Slurpee. “I'll usually grab an Icy or a Slurpee, and I'll just add either Sip’s hurricane or watermelon flavor in there. The label recommends using half-a-capful which is 10mg THC. I need a little more than that, so I use a third,” says Garza, who adds that Sip Elixirs are best enjoyed when chilled. Garza also recommends mixing a bit of Sip’s hurricane flavor with Cann’s blood orange social tonic which contains a potency of 2mg THC: 4mg CBD. “I add a capful of Sip for more of a carbonated drink. Or I'll add some Sip to a cream soda.”

SLIDE INTO STRAWBERRY SERENITY When seeking a relaxed and mellow state of mind, I like a mid-afternoon refreshment and mixing 15mgs of CBD oil into strawberry cream soda does the trick. Since cannabidiol is not psychoactive, this is my version of a virgin cocktail that offers the added wellness benefit of balancing my endocannabinoid system.

august 2021 | elevatenv.com 19

One of my favorite canna-cocktails is an exotic mix of pineapple, guava, and delta-8 THC. I mix pineapple flavored sparkling water with guava juice and add a few drops of 1000mg delta-8 THC tincture. Once I discovered this refreshing elixir I quit my gin, rum, and vodka cocktails and transitioned to a different kind of happy hour.

“I love Wyld’s flavor, they have new novel flavors and all the varieties of cannabinoid—CBN, CBD and THC—products taste good. The CBD drinks are good! The edibles don't have the bitter CBD bite that most edible CBD products seem to have. I also like Cannabella's whole fruit products, it’s such a departure from baked goods or gummies.” -Jen Solas, HR and Compliance Director, Tree of Life Dispensaries “I have two products that I cannot seem to get enough of. Kanha’s Nano Hybrid, Pleasant Plum is downright delicious and slingshots 10mgs of THC straight to your bloodstream. It is my favorite for social events and daytime consumption. The only problem is they taste so damn good, I must force myself to not eat more than two. Kanha’s CBD, CBN, THC + Melatonin version is my choice for sleep. I have never had anything like it. It’s called Tranquility because it is formulated to give you a restful night’s sleep with sleep-inducing CBN and 1mg of melatonin. If you have not tried these, your body will thank you in the morning for having done so.” -Rob Wright, Director of Production, Panna Extracts “My go-to edibles are the dried Fruit Snack Pack by Cannabella. I follow a vegan and gluten free diet and it is hard to find edibles that are friendly to my diet most of the time, but the Cannabella dried fruit edibles are both vegan and gluten free which is a huge win for me! I love that they are real fruit and I enjoy the assortment of kiwis, pineapples, and mangos.” -Alyson James, Marketing Manager, The Source+

“My favorite edible is the Tasty Stack by The Nameless Company. It has everything I could ever want in an edible, and in my opinion is the perfect blend of deliciousness—a combination of pretzels, chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. It's not too sweet and not too salty...in other words, it's just right! The overall effects are always everything I hope for with an edible too. I mainly use edibles for a laidback movie night on the weekends and to get a very solid night of sleep. The Tasty Stack never disappoints. I highly (pun intended) recommend it for all your edible needs.” -Evan Marder, Director of Cultivation, Fleur Brands

“My wife and I are obsessed with three products right now that are always in our fridge. Sip Elixirs cannabis beverage in Wild Berry is the best way to get eight hours of sleep for both of us. Second, EGO Brands’ espresso dark chocolate bar has the perfect amount of crunch and is amazing with some milk after dinner. Finally, Belgian milk chocolates by Encore Edibles. We love that they are individually wrapped and taste delicious.” -Guy Bertuzzi, Publisher, elevate NV magazine

"I absolutely love Betty's Eddies! The flavors, consistency, and relaxing euphoric feeling are all stellar. The little bit of tartness and sweetness they offer really sets you up to have a party in your mouth. As for a favorite flavor I don’t have one, I love them all. With so many gummies on the market who doesn’t need a lil' taffy to kick things up a bit!" -Tina Ulman, Nevada Territory Manager, Old Pal and co-founder, Chamber of Cannabis

“My personal favorite edible right now would have to be my own Mistyland Baked Goods’ exclusive Dark Chocolate Truffle Brownies. Made to be crunchy, decadent and delicious, who can pass on that? When I’m not indulging in my personal gourmet edibles, I also enjoy Verano 2:1 CBN THC Sweet Dreams gummies. This medicinal blend of THC and CBN whisks me off to dreamland in no time, even with my fibromyalgia. Remember we’re here to heal the pain not just deal with the pain.” -chef Misty Lownik of Mistyland Baked Goods

“My favorite edible is OMG THC's milk chocolate-covered peanuts that just launched. I'm a lightweight when it comes to cannabis consumption, so these are perfect! 100mg per package but surprise surprise...there are twenty peanuts in there! This works perfectly for me and for others who are new to edibles or want to micro-dose. And there's more snacking to be had! Last, but not least, the nuts are roasted and salted before being covered with chocolate making the flavor better than any chocolate covered peanut I've had.” -Melinda Brown, Director of Sales, OMG THC

Nevada consumers berry much like a fruity gummy

22

elevatenv.com | august 2021

F

ruit flavors dominate sales of THC-infused cannabis edibles, accounting for more than three-quarters of all edibles sales in California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. Those sales were driven mostly by gummies, which account for more than 83% of the market share for the category as reported by MJBizDaily on June 18. According to data from Seattle-based analytics company Headset, generic berry-flavored products racked up $35.3 million in sales in the past 90 days, accounting for almost 14% of all edibles sales. Raspberry, including the blue variety, brought in $24.6 million in the same time period, with watermelon-flavored edibles close behind at $21.3 million. Nevada edible buyers bought more generic berry flavors than others, but they also purchased more exotic flavors such as huckleberry and pomegranate. Caramel, or dulce de leche, was the top non-fruit-flavored edible with $5.1 million in sales and almost 2% of sales in the analyzed market. Mint, peanut butter and coffee flavors accounted for just more than 1% of sales each.

Kitchen Gadget Spotlight: Ardent FX is easy bake appliance of the cannabis space

I

august 2021 | elevatenv.com 23

n 2013 Shanel Lindsay had been making her own edibles at home and decided to have them tested for potency. “I was expecting the stuff that I was making in the crockpot to be fully active,” Lindsay shares. “What I saw was that it was actually only about 70% active, and I was shocked. I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me? I'm wasting 30% of this?’” As an attorney who is admittedly a D-I-Yer, Lindsay got to work. “From a business perspective, I decided I needed to invent a machine that can help people make edibles that aren’t subpar, and also make it even easier. That was definitely the kind of thought process behind bringing a precision device to people,” she says. After much experimentation, a few years later, voila, Lindsay introduced an all-in-one cannabis cooker. Launched in 2016, her company, Ardent, now sells two devices, NOVA and FX, that activate marijuana plants before infusing, cooking, melting, or baking. The company refers to the FX model as the "Easy Bake Ardent." Users can choose which strains or oils (THC, CBD, CBG, scents, flavors) to include for whatever outcome they want, including rolls, topicals or edibles. It’s nicknamed Easy Bake for a good reason. “You can do it in the privacy of your room, or in the bathroom, or wherever you want to do it because it's an all-in-one little machine. And that kind of frees you from being tied to a particular space when you're making your cannabis products. I can literally bake an edible while sitting at my desk—from start to finish, make a little cupcake,” Lindsay says. “I think for a lot of people, especially during Covid when people were stuck in their rooms, that brought a new value to this personalized machine.” Because Ardent appliances were created out of a need to be efficient, Lindsay notes, “People who use our device are using about half as much starting material as they were using before. The beauty of that is at the end of the day, they have this extra bud, then they'll start to make a beauty product or they'll start to make something else.”
