To Caribbean insiders, Harbour Island is a well-kept secret, and we have our own stylish retreat in the heart of the island’s charming and colorful Dunmore Town. Originally built in 1800, Bahama House exudes a laid-back vibe from a different era. Relax, snorkel, or grab a boogie board at our private set-up on the island’s unique Pink Sand Beach. You can also head out with local guides to target bonefish, take a Scorpion boat tour to a remote sandbar for a picnic, or swim with the manta rays. You name it, we’ve got it.

Bahama House is a private island retreat in the center of bustling Dunmore Town on Harbour Island. With a freshwater pool, outdoor tiki bar, game room, hot tub, rooftop lounge, and all the Bahamian charm you can imagine, it’s easy to forget there’s a world outside the lodge to explore.
GETTING HERE
RECOMMENDED ROUTE Fly into North Eleuthera Airport (ELH)
Upon arrival to ELH, take a 5-minute land taxi to the water taxi dock, then a 10-minute water taxi to Government Dock on Harbour Island
Grab a land taxi or walk the 3 minutes to Bahama House, located on Dunmore Street
