HELI-SKI PLANNING GUIDE | 2024-2025
Your Eleven Experience Team is here to help you design the perfect adventure. This guide outlines what to expect during your stay and how to prepare for your upcoming trip. We look forward to meeting you at Eleven Revelstoke Lodge, but until then, let’s start making some plans.
For visitors, entry requirements differ slightly depending on place of birth, length of stay, and what items accompany the traveler. Please ensure you’ve reviewed the current requirements for entry into Canada, found here

We recommend flying into Kelowna International Airport (YLW) in British Columbia. We can then arrange your 45-minute heli-transfer to the lodge, which is the quickest and easiest way to arrive. Alternatively, we can plan a ground transfer, which takes about 2.5–3 hours. Heli and ground transfers are available for an additional cost, weather and availability permitting.
*Make sure to chat with us to find flights that allow for maximum ski time, as heli-skiing is included on your departure day and offered at an additional cost on your arrival day.

Expect 300,000 acres worth of boundless pillow lines, perfectly spaced old-growth cedar forests, and wide-open bowls. Our three zones— The Valhallas, Pinnacles, and Central Monashess—are each unique. The Valhallas are our highest range and best known for big alpine runs and massive chutes. The Pinnacles is a tree-skiing haven with some of the biggest tree runs anywhere in the Monashees range. The Sugar zone has a mix of everything including the fabled and visually stunning Monashee pillow lines. To put our 300,000-acre tenure in perspective, most destination ski resorts in North America are between 6,000–8,000 acres.
Because our tenure stretches from Revelstoke to Kelowna, you can maximize your days and ski directly to and from the airport on your arrival and departure days. We will give you your safety briefing on the tarmac once you land in Kelowna and fly you straight to ski. On departure day, you can ski directly to the airport at the end of your day and avoid the ground transfer to optimize your ski days. Heli-skiing on your departure day is included, and can be added on for an additional cost on your arrival day.
The Kingfisher terrain sits in the interior of the province, which provides us with the perfect mix of continental temperatures and coastal moisture for ideal snow quality and quantity. Our annual snowfall averages 720 inches of light, fluffy powder over the course of the season. Temperatures in the winter months usually stay between 14°F and 23°F (-5°C and -10°C).
Your safety and peace of mind is our first priority. We staff our operation with experts who have extensive experience and the most advanced training credentials. We also provide industry-leading safety gear and undergo rigorous protocols aligned with Canada’s safety standards. We’re equipped with seasoned pilots, all-mountain monitoring, and the most high-tech equipment available. Finally, our guest-to-guide ratios are intentionally kept small, which allows us to emphasize personalized safety attention.
Your stay includes use of the best equipment in the industry, including Blizzard, Kastle, DPS, and Völkl skis, as well as Burton and Weston snowboards. We also provide ski poles and all necessary safety equipment, including airbag packs and regular packs that come equipped with a shovel, probe, transceiver, and tree rescue kit. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own helmets and ski/snowboarding boots, which they should carry on if flying commercial. (We do not provide boots or helmets, but can explore renting options in town.) We also have helmets for purchase in our retail.
