RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS

RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS

Dinner is not included in your stay. We recommend a mix between our in-house restaurant, Quartermaster Eatery, and other local favorites in downtown Revelstoke. Please connect with your Experience Team for help with reservations.

QUARTERMASTER EATERY

Next door to the lodge is our renowned restaurant, the Quartermaster Eatery, a local favorite that specializes in blending timeless classics with modern twists. The cornerstone of our scratch-made dishes are seasonal ingredients from local farms, boutique ranches, and wild, sustainable fisheries. Appetizers like Bison Tartare and Root Vegetable Caesars complement entrées like Cote de Boeuf, Braised Lamb Shank, and Smoked Kale and Chickpea Gnocchi, accompanied by inventive cocktails like Miso Negronis and Smoked Peach Bourbon Sours.

OLD SCHOOL EATERY

Within the walls of Revelstoke’s first elementary school, Old School has renovated the space for casual dining while maintaining the historic charm. An eclectic mix of food such as crowd favourites like the Chicken Parmesan and Thai Laksa are sure to please everyone at the table.

112

Step into one of Revelstoke’s finest dining options. A warm, intimate vibe complements the traditional French cuisine accompanied by live music on the weekends to provide the ultimate jazz lounge experience.

THE VILLAGE IDIOT

Lovingly referred to by locals as “The Idiot”, this legendary spot was voted 2nd Best Apres Bar in North America by USA Today in 2018. Ski gear and paraphernalia adorn the walls with pub favourites available into the night.

KAWAKUBO

Consistently the busiest restaurant in Revelstoke, a wide selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes draw locals and visitors night after night. You can hangout downstairs at the chef’s table or head upstairs for a private dining experience in one of their tatami rooms.

CHUBBY FUNSTERS

A little more upscale than your average pub, “Chubby’s” offers a nice balance of a cozy apres-ski hangout and a French chalet restaurant

THE TACO CLUB

You may be north of the 49th in a renowned ski town, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the flavours of Mexico! Selection of Mexican classics are served up alongside a bespoke Margarita menu at this downtown fixture.

WOOLSEY CREEK BISTRO

Cabin feels are abundant in this homey, casual fine dining spot. Tucked away from the downtown core, Woolsey Creek plates up refined Canadian classics with local artwork enhancing the interior. Their charcuterie board is not to be missed.

NICO’S PIZZERIA

Decked out in wood from head to toe, North-American style pizzas are cooked to perfection at this cozy pizzeria. Nico’s is located only steps away from the hotel’s front door if you feel so inclined to sneak out for some late night ‘za.

WEATHER AND HOW TO PACK

GEOGRAPHY AND CLIMATE

While May brings more rain and lower fluctuating temperatures, June and July typically see warm sunny days and intermittent thunderstorms. Expect highs in the upper 60’s and low 70’s, with temperatures in the evenings droping into the 30’s and even into the teens at times. Revelstoke is a part of the world’s only inland rainforest, so humidity persists all season long, and afternoon rain storms are common throughout the summer. Certain high alpine activities will likely not be available until July due to slow snowmelt. The surrounding bodies of water are cold as they’re glacier fed; though Shuswap Lake, about an hour away, does warm up to more comfortable swimming temperatures.
