PUERTO CARDENAS

• Five private cabins configured for twin or king beds with en suite bathrooms, wood burning stoves, and outdoor decks • A main lodge, the central gathering space where meals and cocktails are served, with a deck offering stunning glacier and river views

LA JUNTA

• Five double rooms configured for twin or king beds with en suite bathrooms and river views • Terrace seating on wraparound deck with breathtaking views of the Melimoyu Volcano and neighboring valley farms • Ample living room with comfortable couches, wood burning stove, and fully stocked bar • Hot tub • Outdoor fire pit

A DAY IN THE LIFE A MULTI-LODGE ADVENTURE

Martín Pescador Lodge is actually composed of two unique lodges that are strategically located in two distinct world-class watersheds. Anglers will fish from both lodges: Puerto Cardenas, located in the Rio and Lago Yelcho basin, and La Junta, on the banks of Rio Rosselot. By combining these two destinations, our anglers see more of the region and have more variety of fishing techniques.

Our local and North American guides have fished and guided these waters for years. They consider the weather, fish migration, water levels, hatches, and much more to make each day the best possible. Every location has its own watercraft needs, so we have jet boats, hybrid power drifters, lake boats, fly fishing rafts and fly fishing cata-rafts customized for each individual body of water. In several spots, throwing dry flies works great all day. There are also places for dry dragonfly fly fishing. Plus, there are areas that challenge your light tippet skills and require you to match the hatch while sight fishing sipping rainbows. Streamers work well everywhere and can be just the ticket for very large rainbows and browns. Of course, all of this comes with chef-prepared lunches, some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and very short drive times. In fact, quite a few of our trips start or finish right at the lodge.
