Description of the works, services or goods to be procured through the qualification system: Storage and backup environment designer and supplier.

Elia is looking for partners to propose, design, supply, integrate and maintain (not manage) our Storage (currently block-based SAN) and Backup (currently VTL, SAN) environment in the coming 5 years investment period.

Purchases will be made over several years to coincide with our end-of-life and investment cycles.

Hardware will need to be installed in three different sites in Belgium (Brussels, Schaarbeek, Merksem).

We estimate to have a maximum storage need of 500TB within 5 years. Elia uses Netbackup software.
