CHILDHOOD SPACES eline faché DALE NKD VILLE FAGERHEIM BAS master course spring 2014

Tree barns, two meadows, one brook, one orchard, one house. Four persons. My parents, my sister and me. Outside. Playing, biking, climbing. Goats, a dog and a cat. Bricks where painted white, windows red, doors white-red striped. Two doors. Front door and backdoor. Front door was never locked. Backdoor had a window. Inside. Cosy and warm. Small rooms. Big enough. Two floors. First floor consisted out of six rooms. Every room had its own window. Exept for one, the storage room. Tiles on the floor. The second floor contained one big space. No borders between the bedrooms. Carpet covered the floor. The two floors where connected by steep wooden stairs. Almost a ladder. Running up and down. Careful! Seven summers. No one wanted to move but there was no other option.
