DAILY GEMS Dutch furniture and interior designers 'Siebring & Zoetmulder' and textile and graphic design Studio 'LileSadi' combined their aesthetics to create an atmosphere that represents a delicate universe with a minimalistic touch. Their first common product, the 'Daily Gems' cabinet is not only a functional organizer, but also a playground for aesthetic compositions of materials, structures and shapes. DAILY GEMS The Daily Gems is a sleek designed wall cabinet wherewith a collage on the wall can be made. The boxes are smartly connected through which new functional spaces are created. The boxes are designed with beautifully milled lines all around. They create a subtle pattern and rhythm, serving as rails for several different materials. The materials together with your daily artifacts become part of what looks like a classical Dutch still life painting, the concept that gives roots to the name ‘Daily Gems’. The Daily Gems is made of high quality birch plywood and can be invisibly attached to the wall. The Daily Gems can be ordered together with a material set. One set exists out of two elements, the elements designed are a mirror with a pattern, a handmade porcelain circle, a screen printed wooden hexagon and a brass triangle.

The boxes are designed with beautifully milled lines all around the cabinet. They create a subtle pattern and rhythm, serving as rails for several different materials. The cabinet can be turned by 360 degrees and attached to the wall in 4 different positions, allowing one to create a truly personal piece of furniture.

Studio Siebring & Zoetmulder is founded by Lianne Siebring & Elise Zoetmulder. Both studied Interior Architecture and have an eye for detail. The duo designs a collection of cabinets. These designs are characterized by geometric shapes, resulting in an organic whole. With affordable, smart and simple products Siebring & Zoetmulder is solving insufficiencies in current Interiors. For their products they work together with local wood workers in the Netherlands. Next to product design the duo can help you with interior design, styling and concept development.

TABLE CABINET
INTERIOR The Table Cabinet is an architectural design with tall legs. Rectangular shapes juxtaposed in a smart manner. This invites you to walk around the design and discover new spaces. Through presenting your own objects you create your cabinet of curiosities. The Table Cabinet is made of high quality birch plywood and has a mat finish. The design is highly suitable for presentation of beautiful objects. The legs are dismountable.

WALL CABINET The Wall Cabinet is a real eye catcher for the living room. The skewed bookcase is a functional artwork for the wall. It exists out of several rectangular boxes and drawers which are handy for storing books and other objects. The Wall cabinet can be made on request by our cabinetmaker. The Birdhouse is a tightly designed multifunctional cabinet in the shape of a birdhouse. The design includes a light, drawer and storage space. On the roof you can display a book, very handy as a bookmark. This characteristic house looks greatly in a living room or as a night cabinet in the bedroom. The electricity wire is fully concealed. The brass fitting has a pull cord to easily switch the lamp on and off. The house is made of birch plywood and has a mat finish. The metal bottom of the design is coated white.

PORCELAIN DROPS Porcelain drops are handmade porcelain earrings. handpoored and painted in Delft. The design is inspired on reflections of the sky seen in the canals. Each pair is a unique Delft Blue. The design is partly matt and partly shiny, which shows the idea of the movement of the water. The earrings are porcelain drops with a silver back. Each product is handmade by the designer, so each piece is unique. There are a light and dark blue version.

ABOUT
Studio Lilesadi is the creative duo of German textile designer Dinah Smutny and her sister Sarah Smutny, founded in 2012 in Rotterdam. After having graduated from her textile design studies in 2005, Dinah decided to explore the field by working for and collaborating with different artists. Her work brought her to live in cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, London and Vienna. After all the impressions she collected, Dinah followed Sarah to Rotterdam. This is where things fell into place. Creating original textiles, fresh wallpapers and other graphic interior products we aim to bring minimalism and poesy in the homes of people brightening up their life. We love to combine soft with hard, fine with bold. We draw a lot of inspiration from the architecture in Rotterdam, where we live. We are still amazed by the mix of shades, materials and the play of shadows, lines and reflections of the clouds in the buildings. We place a strong focus on the craftmanship and quality of our products and we want to keep the production in Europe. We like to know the people who manufacture our products. Most of our textiles are screen printed by ourselves in our studio in Rotterdam. We are proud to present our AW15/16 collection with many new products. Graphic posters, new cushions and a Mohair blanket developed at Textilelab Tilburg. Our collaboration with Studio Siebring Zoetmulder resulted in a minimalistic and poetic wall cabinet ‘Daily Gems’. BLANKET 01 In search of new creative playgrounds, LileSadi worked with the famous textile lab in Tilburg. The result of this new adventure is Blanket 01, a high quality woven art piece that will stand out in any interior. Woven triangles in the shades of indigo blue, pastel rose, light grey, white, black, vanilla and anthracite with a soft gradient effect on the bottom of the plaid.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT Do you have a shop, brand or an idea but you are facing difficulties translating it into a soldid design? For a good concept is emphathy, trendwatching and experience needed. Together we will look for profoundness in your concept and translate this to a useful story.
INTERIOR DESIGN As graduated interior architects we gladly give you advice for decorating your interior. It is possible that you find it difficult to image how a space will look like or how to give a personal touch. As interior architects we think along with you about the division of space, colour, materials, finish and furniture. It is important that the identity of the users comes back in our design. We give interior advice to individuals as well as businesses.
