REVELATION
Revelation can be defined as “an act of revealing to view or making something known”.
A revelation can be at times an enlightening and revealing experience. It is an act of discovery and can be a stimulus for action. Our building will be centered around this idea of this winding journey towards revelation.

MEANDERING
The building in itself is an invitation to learn about these winged inhabitants and discover something new. The structure emerges out of the land to reveal the aviary within. The journey within and around the site is just as important as the structure itself. The meandering building form and open space allows for open interpretation of how one wants to experience it. The journey can be linear from start to end or be varied and multi-layered. The experience depends on the user.
There is a slow progression and growth of space that starts from the entry points and concludes at the edge of the lake. This high point reveals beautiful views of the city sky line, the park and nature that surround the site, and a view of the building in which one just took a journey through.
