PARKING INFORMATION

Parking at The Schroeder Residence will be alongside the back valet drive. All vendors will park in the grass behind the pool house. We are asking that vendor vehicles not be visible from the back porch and pool area. See property map for more details. Guests will park alongside the drive with the assistance of parking attendants.

CEREMONY DETAILS, PERSONAL & CEREMONY FLORALS

Florals will consist of garden roses, rancunculus, spray roses, pale blue delphiniums, stock, and textural elements such as scabiosa and Queen Anne’s lace. The dreamy spring palette will pair beautifully with the pale blue front door and the blues and floral patterns throughout the textiles Allyson selected for the event. The ceremony will feature a mix of standing room and seating. Forty white Chiavari chairs will line the aisle. Ceremony to be officiated by pastor Ken Hollis with music to by the bride’s brothers and sister-in-law Brandon, Kate, and Chad.

Allyson’s bridal bouquet will have a loose, romantic feel, hand-tied with silk ribbon. Her sister Madeline will carry a smaller version of the bouquet. Boutonnières will feature ranunculus and textural elements tying in with the colors of the wedding. Low profile corsages will be pinned for both Jill and Chris’ mother.

Custom watercolor illustration painted by the bride for the stationery and details. The Smith-Hughes ceremony will take place on the steps at the Schroeder’s in a semicircle of florals. In case of rain, the ceremony will move onto the porch with florals lining the aisle.

A SOUTHERN WEDDING FLORIST

Lovely Leaves was launched in January 2014, and we have had the honor of designing florals for over 400 amazing couples! Our company was launched as a florist catering specifically to brides. We are not your typical florist: Planners at heart, we work with each client to be sure the design of her florals is woven perfectly into the fabric of her wedding to create an overall amazing day packed full of style and loveliness. Lovely Leaves has been featured in blogs and magazines throughout the country; well known publications include Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Magnolia Rouge, Kentucky Bride, and Brides of Austin. We design flowers for gorgeous weddings in Kentucky and Texas plus select destination weddings throughout the country.

The couple’s wedding cake will have a pearl design accented with florals to be served alongside Thumbprint Cookies from Plehn’s. Maureen from A Full Plate Catering is providing a delicious meal of heavy hors d’ouevres and bar service. Cocktail tables will feature muted blue linens with lounge areas all accented with cocktail table arrangements.

POOLSIDE GARDEN PARTY

The vibe for Allyson and Chris’ reception is poolside garden party. Florals from the ceremony will be repurposed at the edge of the pool for a beautiful, fresh accent paired with southern smilax and lanterns. The Bluegrass Trio band will play poolside throughout the evening.

A white bar with gold shelving will be set up poolside with pool furniture put away and lounge furniture and tables brought in. Guests will be invited to celebrate in and around the pool house.

Table decor will be minimal as the reception is cocktail style, but tables and seating will be provided poolside for 40 guests composed of five round 48” tables and 40 white Chiavari chairs repurposed from the ceremony. Tables will be topped with muted blue Panama linens from Bryant’s Rent-All and beautiful low centerpieces and accented with candles. Centerpieces will include a mix of garden florals and textural elements. China, glassware, tables, chairs and the bar will be provided by A Full Plate Catering with julep cups borrowed from Brooke Cook.

Stationery and signage created by Allyson to include day of paper such as programs (fans) menus, bar signage, parking signs, and bathroom signs.

Allyson & Chris will pour a champagne tour during the reception.

Post-ceremony guests will toss white rose petals during the recessional.

Lovely Leaves will handle rental pick up and return. Chris and Allyson to help with loading and unloading furniture.

Candles and lanterns will lend a romantic glow to the later hours of the evening.
