How Do I Register? OPTION #1 IN PERSON You may register in person at the Pavilion or the Al Hattendorf Center. Resident Registration begins Feb. 3 Non-Resident Registration begins Feb. 10. In order to receive the Resident rates, you must confirm your Resident status. This will be done by completing a Household Data Form in person at the Al Hattendorf or Pavilion Customer Service Desks. Please bring qualifying documents with you to confirm your residency (see page 14). This camp is for children 4-8 years old. We have plenty of outdoor and water activities and a local field trip each week on Thursdays.”. Bring your lunch! Summer Scene
This is not just any ordinary day camp. Summer Scene is a traveling camp geared solely towards children going into 7th and 8th grades. This camp is always on the go. Campers will go on field trips almost every day and will experience all that the Chicagoland area has to offer. Every other week we will have an overnight camping trip Thursday through Friday. NWSRA Summer Day Camps
NWSRA’s Summer Day Camp program is designed to provide a community-based recreation experience for all children ages 3-21 with special needs. NWSRA Day Camps provide a structured environment in which to accomplish goals such as increasing fine-gross motor skills, developing social-emotional language and community involvement. SPECIALTY CAMPS Theatre Camp
Campers will put on a full-scale musical theatre production on stage at the Prairie Lakes Theatre! Within the five week camp, Counselors will teach basic theatre fundamentals with first-hand tricks to memorizing lines, character development, costuming and set design. Campers will receive two complimentary tickets for either performance, a t-shirt, and a personalized bag. Attendance the last week of camp is mandatory for tech rehearsals held after camp at 6pm and two public performances on the last Friday of camp at 6pm and the following Saturday at 11am. Behind the Scenes Camp
Have you ever wondered what it takes to put together a musical production from behind-the-scenes? Do you marvel at the tech and light equipment, curious to know more about what is required of tech or stage crew? Are you interested in learning about the planning strategies that directors, choreographers, and costume designers use? This one-week camp will be filled with backstage tips, tricks, and lessons. You will learn what directors look for when casting a show, how to practice for a stellar audition, what choreographers think about when designing a dance number, how to work a light/sound board, and so much more. Both of these programs run out of the Pavilion Fieldhouse Gym and serve camps that run from 9am - 3pm at Pavilion, Rainbow Falls, and Olmsted. Fox Run Golf Links offers family tees that scale the golf course to fit the skill of Junior golfers. By playing courses from the appropriate yardages, players have more fun and families can create memories together on the golf course.

The Junior Golf Lesson Program consists of instruction by our teaching professionals at the driving range and playing time at Fox Run Golf Links. The program is geared toward a specific age group for the students. Content will include rules, etiquette, course management, and the physical aspect of hitting the ball. All students must have clubs. If you need clubs, contact Fox Run and we can arrange to have them available for the lesson. CAMP WAITLIST CONFIRMATION The registration office will contact you in case of a waitlist. If you do not receive waitlist notice, your registration has been processed as requested. For inquiries, call (847) 437-9494.
WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM A Waiver and Release of All Claims form must be signed when registering yourself or your minor child for Elk Grove Park District programs.
PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT AND RELEASE Photographs and videos are periodically taken of people participating in Elk Grove Park District programs and activities. All persons participating in Park District programs/activities or using Park District property thereby agree that any photograph or video taken by the Park District of yourself and/or your child/ward may be used by the Park District without limitation for the promotional purposes including, but not limited to, posting the photograph/ video on the Park District’s website, and/or its promotional videos, brochures, fliers, and other publications without additional prior notice or permission, and without compensation to the participant. Such productions may be copied, copyrighted, edited, and distributed by the Elk Grove Park District in the manner described above. Objections must be made in writing and filed with the Elk Grove Park District. Written objections may be submitted to: Elk Grove Park District, Administration Building, 499 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007, and should include your and/or your child/ward’s name, address, phone number, your signature and date.
CAMP WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY In order to receive a full refund, notification to withdraw from a camp must be received by the registration deadline date. Please refer to the brochure for specific camp registration deadlines. Withdrawal/refund requests made after the registration deadline may be assessed a 10% (minimum $5, maximum $25) service fee per program based on the total program cost. These requests must be initiated by completing a withdrawal/refund request form, available at the Pavilion and Al Hattendorf Center customer service counters or online. Notification to withdraw from a contractual camp must be received by the registration deadline or a refund will not be issued. After the class start date, withdrawals may be given on a pro-rated basis from the date of the submitted refund request, less the service fee. Withdrawals/refunds will not be issued after the camp has been completed. Due to the demand for participation in the Park District camps and the limited number of places available, refunds will not be issued for camp days that participants are unable to attend.
