2013 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
FRONT COVER Ella student’s art from Pre-K Great Start in Art (2012)
Dear Friends, Welcome to our sponsorship guide for 2013! There are many exciting events planned for our galleries, grounds and classrooms. Please read through the many opportunities for everyone to be involved at the Ella. It is our hope that you will also find an opportunity to be a benefactor to the organization though a sponsorship, whether it be as a Day Sponsor all the way up to being a Presenting Sponsor for an event, exhibit or educational programs. The Ella cannot survive and thrive without our sponsors. In 2012 49% of our operating budget was provided through this sponsorship program and donations. Your support is necessary to the continuation of quality programming for our community. Please help provide enriching classes, stunning exhibits and opportunities for area school children to continue having the pioneer living experience. As you page through this guide, please plan your year with us! I would be happy to personally tour and discuss these opportunities with any of our potential sponsors - Please don’t hesitate to contact us! Thank you in advance for your support. Most sincerely, Amy Reimann Executive Director

A full day field trip to the Museum will show students how pioneer children lived in the early days. Students churn butter in the log cabin, write their lessons on a slate in the old Dibble schoolhouse, and try their hands at bartering, weaving, or woodworking. Do you remember your Pioneer Living experience?
“Students are amazed as they do hands-on activities and learn how differently pioneer kids lived—from roping beds and filling straw mattresses to making thread and weaving it into cloth.” -VIRGINIA KENT, PIONEER LIVING DOCENT SINCE 1988
