GUERRILLA LIGHTING SOUTHWARK 30th JUNE 2010
CONCEPT
Guerrilla Lighting aims to encourage popular engagement with the city at night by including a large group of people in creating transient lighting interventions, with the added challenge of using non-professional lighting equipment. The six chosen sites represent a ‘hidden Southwark’ of shrouded corners and buildings cloaked in darkness. The concept addresses each site as an episode of a discontinuous fictional narrative framed within a consistent colour palette.
