Charles' (BEHS '22) LAUNCH coursework and professional skills earned him the role of Accounting Tax Intern for Mohr CPAs. This opportunity offered good pay and flexible hours while providing practical, hands-on experience in tax preparation. Charles worked tirelessly during a busy tax season to meet the demands of customers, an experience that will serve him well as he pursues a Finance Degree from UW-Madison's School of Business in the Fall.

LAUNCH is a profession-based learning experience providing students with real-world business experiences which result in highly skilled global innovators and leaders.

Faith (BEHS ‘22) completed the Dual Enrollment Academy’s (DEA) Fire and EMT Program’s six courses to receive her certification. Her participation in the program saved her thousands of dollars in tuition and fees, and allows her to enroll directly into Milwaukee Fire Department’s 2-year Fire Cadet program. “I pursued this path because I’m very passionate about helping others. I can’t wait to help people throughout my career!”
PROJECT STRIVE
Project STRIVE is an adult transition service for 19-21 year-old young adults in the School District of Elmbrook with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Eva (BCHS ‘22) participated in the Business Analytics and Business and Society LAUNCH strands during her Junior and Senior years. Throughout her time, she worked with Milliman, Milwaukee Tool, The Medical College of Wisconsin & Children’s Hospital, and Concurrency to understand and solve real-world business problems. Eva’s experiences helped her gain admission to the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business beginning in the Fall of 2022.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES (AP)
Elmbrook offers 25 AP Courses that provide students with the opportunity to earn college credit.
OLIVER
Following completion of her coursework at BEHS, Megan participated in Project STRIVE, which teaches independent living skills, social communication & vocational abilities in real-life settings & through life experiences. Her active participation led to public speaking opportunities this spring where she was engaging and confident in her abilities. This Fall, Megan plans to work part-time as she sets her sights high for the future.
COOPERATIVE ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (CAPP)
One on-campus, dual credit option is CAPP, where students experience college curriculum in a high school environment.

Brookfield Central’s Co-Valedictorians Ben Kim and Kevin Niu completed over 30 AP courses in their four years of high school. In recent years, the District has expanded its offerings to include AP Research, AP Human Geography, and AP World History. Assuming three college credits per course, both Ben and Kevin are well on their way to an early college graduation or the pursuit of a double major. Ben will be attending the University of Chicago while Kevin is enrolled at Brown University.
During the pandemic, math teachers Hannah Guth (BEHS) and TJ Reutemann (BCHS) were two of Elmbrook's educators who earned their Masters degrees as part of a program designed to qualify them to teach college courses as an adjunct professor. The Cooperative Academic Partnership Program requires a certified instructor and course-aligned curriculum. To-date, 28 Elmbrook educators have completed certification in order to expand access to college courses for our students.

BROOKFIELD EAST HIGH SCHOOL Zane (BEHS ‘22) is a national merit semifinalist & co-captain of one of the most successful BEAST Robotics teams in history! This year, the combined Elmbrook team won the WI & MN regionals, earned numerous awards, & competed at the World Championships in Houston.

BROOKFIELD CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL Marisa (BCHS ‘22) was named the first-ever 138-pound WIAA Girls State Wrestling Champion in 2021. She has given back to the sport as an official, coach and mentor to girls in the area for several years. Marisa will wrestle at Northern Michigan next year.
