What do we do in World Literature?
COMING FALL 2018 Lit 144A: World Literature Wed 6:00-9:10 PM CRN 75117
“You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will…” – Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft.
Explore: Life is an adventure. By taking World Literature, you will be able to live that adventure through the words and stories of the past. Don’t miss this chance.
Understand your Present: Many stories, movies, and figures of pop culture today find their roots in stories from the past. By studying the past, we learn more about our world today.
Stephen King said it best. Writing is scary and literature can feel scary, but anything scary IS rewarding.
The Instructor: William Curington has been teaching at Rio Hondo since 2005. He has published two children’s books, one which won the OCD Texas Book Fair Award, and several novels. He is passionate about writing, but he is also passionate about teaching YOU stories and legends from the past.
