EVENT OVERVIEW
The annual El Paso County Fair is the most significant event held at the Fair & Event Center, celebrating the County’s rich western and agricultural heritage. For 2023, we wanted to capture the decades of memories and history at the El Paso County Fair. The Fair continues to be a memory mark for the community, and we wanted to honor that.
The El Paso County Fair is a place to make and relive memories. We are proud to provide memory-making opportunities for the community without additional financial strain. Keeping our admission prices low and offering multiple days for discounts and our popular FREE day at the Fair, we were able to create accessible entertainment opportunities for our visitors and create A Summer to Remember!
The 118th Annual El Paso County Fair offered expanded FREE entertainment with the Fair Zone, enhanced educational and engagement programming, and aligned our hours and shows to provide a memorypacked day. Visitors could enjoy new nightly ticketed entertainment, free concert series, and expanded carnival hours
The Fair has many wins to boast, and those successes result from the generous and intentional support from the El Paso County Commissioners, executive leadership, staff, volunteers, and our community partners
We are proud to have built on our previous years' successes and thrilled to have exceeded our 2023 goals.

Through the generous support of partners and the community's response to our Fair, we were able to gain financially and maintain financial independence.

Our community enjoyed A Summer to Remember at the 2023 El Paso County Fair . We were able to provide an event with a variety of activities for the entire family!
3.8 MILLION BRAND IMPRESSIONS
We were intentional about our marketing efforts and created a comprehensive campaign to boost brand awareness for the Fair and our partners. Our efforts more than doubled the impression data from 2022, increasing exposure (brand impressions) and awareness for the event.

Our attendance goal was 25,000 for the eight-day event. We are thrilled to report we exceeded that goal by over 7,880 guests.
We continue to look for ways to offer exciting new entertainment at a reasonable rate for our community.
2023 proved our marketing campaign is hitting targets, and our community enjoys our annual, family-friendly event.

Consistently, the El Paso County Fair has been a family-friendly community celebration focused on honoring the County's heritage and culture. For 118 years, the Fair has provided unique entertainment, agriculture awareness, and education. The Fair has also been the home of 4-H and FFA year-end shows, providing opportunities for youth to showcase talents and offer times for fellowship and connection
El Paso County is one of Colorado's fastest-growing counties and the largest county by population. The community is as diverse as the landscape. We understand that while so much around the region is changing, what has stayed the same is our commitment to providing quality services, building trust, and fostering collaboration.
At its core, the Fair is a community celebration and an opportunity for El Paso County to highlight the services and programs available to residents. Through a week-long celebration event, we provide quality entertainment, educate residents and visitors about County services and programs, build relationships with the community, and collaborate with regional partners and stakeholders for meaningful outcomes
We diligently look for opportunities to showcase the Fair and partners in our marketing and promotional efforts. We have made strides in providing more accurate, specific data to highlight our successes better and detail the impact of our efforts. This data helps guide our decision-making and how we can best value your partnership.
