WHO WE ARE
The County Fair is organized and produced through a collaborative effort between the Board of County Commissioners, Fair Advisory Board, Fairgrounds Corporation, CSU Extension, County staff, and many dedicated volunteers.
Calhan, Colorado, has been the home of the El Paso County Fair since 1905. The Fair has humble beginnings, starting as a potato festival and evolving into an annual community celebration featuring 4-H and FFA youth projects, nightly entertainment, and specialty events.
The Fair aims to provide various activities for all residents and visitors to celebrate El Paso County's history, culture, and heritage. 2025 will mark the 120th event honoring El Paso County's rich history and traditions, providing educational and entertainment opportunities to visitors of all ages.

Through the generous support of partners and the community's response to our Fair, we were able to maintain financial independence.

Our marketing efforts proved that it is EPIC out here at the El Paso County Fair. We were able to provide an event with a variety of week-long activities for the entire family!
