July 17th 2021
10am – 4pm
Ely Cathedral’s East Lawn Entrance from Ely High Street Exit Ely Cathedral South into Cherry Hill
Ely continues to celebrate Eel Day this year by bringing you a rather quirky ‘Eel Fayre’! The Fayre is all about the humble Eel and its importance to Ely over the centuries. There will be some fantastic stalls offering Ely arts, crafts, food, living history plus much more. Meet ‘Ellie the Eel’ as she takes prize position on the East Lawn, try your luck at Eel throwing and have a wonderful day in the shadow of the magnificent Cathedral.
